Clearly tapatalk has a bug to work out. When we type "&" we get the symbol and garbage with it. I guess we will have to wait for tapatalk to fix the problem.

You saying that similes aren't coming up when you type in the code through tapatalk.

No. I'm saying that if you use the ampersand symbol, you will get a funky "amp;" next to it.

& is the html entity for the ampersand symbol. It's encoding the special characters from user input to help prevent against Cross Site Scripting and database hacking in general. The problem is they forgot the unencode routine when retrieving it back from the database.
