Hit a curb today at 2 mph due to a wonderful elderly person weaving toward me. This happened. Can I still drive on my tires??
I hope nothing is bent!
First pic is my rear tire. Second is the front that has the big chunk out of the tire.

If those were mine I would drive on them without a second thought.
Take that for what it's worth. No liability expressed or implied.

I'll check for cracks when I get home. I'm still in class for now. I'm thinking it's time to refinish the wheels this spring/summer.

Based on the pictures it doesn't looked cracked.
Just make sure to keep an eye on your tire pressure Hokie.

That is a major downer. :(
I probably would have had an anxiety attack or something.

I didn't even believe it. I just heard it and it sounded awful. I sat in my car for a few minutes before even getting out to assess the damage

Bummer - sorry about the damage.
...I also have 1 slightly scraped wheel now (wifey-parking)
I know wheels can be refinished, etc, but I hate the ZHP wheels, so...
Good excuse to get some style 264's :) I really am thinking of doing that, but have to wait for a bit...

Sorry Ryan/family ...
I know I am a bit unusual in that respect, but I always prefer a clean, classy 5-star spoke look...
I think our cars look great with 264s....I just have to find some more reasons to really pull the trigger....

your tire are be fine. watch the wheel vibration/pulling. depending on what you did you may have knocked the wheel out of balance or screwed with the alignment.

So I can safely say that the alignment is ok. I took the car up to...um...speeds last night and it was perfectly composed so I think the wheels/tires are alright.
