will probably be a tough sell cuz most states brand the title rebuilt no matter what. a few states will inspect and give you a corrected clean title

have traded emails with this owner. very nice guy. he bought it after it had been fixed back from a side collision. previous owner cheaped out repainting car, looks unprofessional up close to say the least. also, previous owner did not replace front bumper -- close shots reveal mucho cracks. guy was 100% up front on all this, sent me some pix. bummer for me since it's pretty much exactly what i want but the paint job and bumper make it a no-go fo sho.

The low mileage in combination with the salvage title would lead me to also believe that it may have sat for while before someone actually got around to fixing the car. Salvage titles are not the end of the world, but unless you had it checked out by a reputable body shop I would completely steer clear.
