Headlight washers

anyone know how to remove these? i only found one thing and it says hold the telescoping peice and pull like a mutha.

also...what about the little painted covers? the rings that hold them to the sprayer is all cracked up. my other option is to just glue them to new jets and hope they are the last i have to put on the car. (not my preference)
of course i'd like to find them pre-painted. what i have found is this part number
61679071450 but it's for the right side, left says it's discontinued. ????

The part number you have is for prefacelift sedans. BMW doesnt seem to sell prepainted versions of the facelift p/n. see here: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=EV53&mospid=47725&btnr=61_1087&hg=61&fg=45

If I remember correctly, you have to disconnect the hose, pull the headlight bracket out, and then remove the nozzle by twisting it in place and then pulling it out
