Word yo? I was driving and saw an Imola 4dr... The other driver apparently saw mine. We glanced at eachother... We gave me the peace sign as he passed the opposite direction. Obviously he knew we both had the not so special 330's. It was awesome. And I can't believe I'm geeking out about this.... Too bad it wasn't in a parking lot or something. I would have told him about our band of brothers. Then again, maybe he would have tried to do the same thing... LOL!

i know there are a couple other imola zhp owners in Austin who are also on this site...hmmm
speaking of which, i spotted two(!) imola zhp verts today in houston. two in the same day is a first for me. sadly i was being shuttled in a 96 astro van so i could not acknowledge them...

The only Imola that has ever noticed me on the road was a younger guy in an E46 M3 coupe. He pulled up next to me at a stop light and was checking out my car. He gave me a thumbs up and I did back to him. Light turned green right after, I was turning left and he went straight so I didn't get a chance to say much. I guess I have given Tom's car a compliment but that doesn't really count as it wasn't a random encounter

I have yet to see another Z4M next to me. I saw one on the freeway and was chasing it down, then it got off the freeway before I could catch it.
A Z3M drove up next to me once on the freeway, we both were giggling in excitement it seemed like and he gave me a thumbs up, took a picture and went his way, pretty cool thing

Hahaha I know how it is to be geekin' out about seeing another ZHP. I saw one on the road a few weeks ago and was elated to get a wave back. I told my girlfriend later that night, and she didn't understand it so much. But she was excited to see me so excited.

I still have yet to even see a Z3 or Z4 M in the wild. I wish that the Z4M's weren't so damn expensive.. because I want one so badly.

A couple of years ago there were 2 Imola Z4M's at 2 different used car lots for sale. I wish now I would have went and drove one just for the hell of it. The one dealer has let me take both a 330Ci and a 330CiC for overnight test drives. I'm afraid I might get spoiled after driving something with an S54 in it though and want an M3 afterward.

I thought this was about the car and you because I was gonna say the only "bond" I have with my car is the fact that it's married to my bank account......
That and I also know the last 7 digits of my vin for emergency purposes

I also know the last 7 of my VIN, helpful at random times. It has also impressed some guys at the dealer when they ask year/model and I spit off the VIN. I also know all of the 2002's VIN (lol, only 7 digits in '69)

Got you all beat. I know my entire VIN by heart.
Feel free to call me and put me on the spot with that! I definitely learned it when I went through the disaster of trying to register my car. Lost title, paperwork this, paperwork that. Ugh. :shifty

A month or so ago, I was driving in Mililani, HI and saw a silver coupe and got pretty stoked about seeing it until I saw the driver was a middle aged Asian woman . I faced palmed myself thinking she may not be fully appreciating her not so "special" car, lol

my next door neighbor owns a blue Z4M. thing is sexy. he hides it in his garage so i rarely see it, but we've done the bmw head nod a few times in passing.

Allow me please :
I had no idea ZHPmafia existed before I bought my car. Frankly, I knew little about the ZHP before buying mine (I still know very little). Fortunately, I have some great friends who do KNOW, pointed me in the right direction and enabled me to get not only a ZHP, but the right ZHP for me. Thanks for being here ZHPMafia to help me complete the process.

Reading through this site and in particular, this thread, has brought back so many memories. Back in my youth, it seemed BMW owners were almost as rare as ZHP owners are now. With each '02 we'd pass we'd all flash our lights, give a wave and a smile and that feeling of familia would keep you moving down the road until the next flash, wave and a smile.
Oh, and just so you know, after I park my 2002 and begin to walk away, I still turn back to stare.

Z4M roadster - if you meant the coupe specifically, then never mind. I've seen a few of those, but not here.

As of yesterday, a ZHP *and* a Z4M Coupe grace my garage. The perfect complementary pair, if I may say so. :)

Same here except I didn't know about the ZHP or the fact I bought one until I came across this site. I just thought that 330 looked sweet. So glad I bought one otherwise I would of had it up for sale to get a ZHP.
After joining this site I hardly ever log on to the others anymore. Less BS here and cooler people.

Nice car Kevin! Love the color!
I'm liking that free pic site you use too. It's nice how you can just scroll through the pics rather than having to click from one to another.
