Wow, author Gabe and I must have been separated at birth or something. I bought a Mini in '09 that I modeled after his - a Pepper White S with an awesome interior combination of colors and options that I duplicated almost exactly, because I liked the look so well. Before that, not long after I bought my M Coupe, he wrote a review of it, and talked about how much he wanted one. Now I find out he has a ZHP? I sold my Mini to buy my ZHP. Sheesh. Here's his piece on the M Coupe... gotta agree with everything he has to say, and I'm quite happy I've kept mine for 5 years now, and never plan to part with it...

Nice write up.
I was lucky and bought mine before I knew what a ZHP was. Took it home and started looking at various websites and voila, I realized what I stumbled into.

Printed a copy for the glove box, and one for my girlfriend, who was pretty close to giving me the boot when I mentioned one day "Oh, by the way, I'm flying to North Carolina next week to buy a car." But, on the other hand, once she cooled down and actually rode in it (about a month later), she volunteered "this one's a little more sporty than the 325, isn't it?". Hmmm.. next vanity plate .... MRSPRTY
