Let's get an idea of who's traveling to the Mafia meet @ Dane's house in May, and what routes we're taking. BMWs like to travel in packs!
Roughly I'll be leaving Friday, May 18th, morning taking I-40 East to I-85 North.
85 North seems to be last leg most of us South Easterners will be using to get to Dane's. Maybe we can schedule a major caravan.

Should be a sight with Lucy in the pack :) Maybe Dave can stop over to help with additional elbow grease...:p
I'm absolutely down for a major caravan!

There is no way Ryan is letting me leave Asheville by myself, so i guess I'll be checkin out Lucy's ass all the way to Danes!

Well it really is a nice ass. But we really don't have to caravan if you don't want. However you will be attending the meet, period. :)

Ryan,
I'm thinking that my group will be hitting Richmond sometime around 1200, assuming that we don't run into any heavy traffic on the way down (Wash DC) :)

I live in Chapel Hill and I'll be going straight up 85 since it goes right through chapel hill to 95 to 64, etc. Not sure when I'm leaving but I'd be down for a caravan.

- Merge onto I-85 N, 46.0 mi
- Slight left to stay on I-85 N, Entering Virginia, 124 mi
- Keep left at the fork, follow signs for I-95 N/Richmond and merge onto I-95 N, 15.8 mi
-Take exit 67A to merge onto VA-895 E, Toll road*, 8.0 mi
-Keep left at the fork, follow signs for I-295/I-95 and merge onto I-295 N, Partial toll road*, 2.9 mi

-Take the US-60 exit toward Lightfoot/Williamsburg, 0.2 mi
-Turn right onto US-60 E/Richmond Rd ,Destination will be on the right, 3.4 mi
I plan to leave at 8am Friday, May 18th and arrive at my hotel around 3pm, which is check in. I want to check in, clean up the car and myself before heading to Dane's house.
My time chart puts me at these major junctions at these times:
Greensboro, NC & I-85- 10:30 am
Durham, NC - 11:30 am
Richmond, VA @ I-64 : 2:30 pm
*- These are toll roads. I will be navigating using my Garmin. I will try to avoid these toll roads w/out extending the travel time. This may, or may not be possible. I will only know once I get close enough to have the Garmin re-route.

About the tolls..... yeah. I think it's about $5 in tolls, going farther east is more gas, therefor more $$. We'll just deal.

Dane, when I came to your house to get the wheels, I didn't pay a single toll going the way my GPS took me...
Ryan and to anyone else who's interested, I'll join in with you guys at the I-40E/I-85N junction since it's right by my house

If you take 29 from Greensboro to 58 around Danville, VA, you will be good. 58 is a decent road and you are about three hours from Dane's. Oh, and no tolls.

Ryan,
Any of you guys going to have walki talkies with you when driving up? If so, what channel are you guys going to be on? I have a set with me and am trying to make arrangements to have everyone on the same channel so if we are within range, we can organize the meet at Richmond to all roll down together.....what do you say?
I'd be happy to meet up with you all at some point if we can manage it! We need to get all of the ATL guys together to head up too.

I was definitely thinking Cam and I head up to meet you guys together. I don't know the routes all that well yet, but I can just look on google and such.
