Stay tuned for the 7500k fog light bulbs tomorrow. I'm not too sure how they will look. Heres what I'm running now

I will also post before and afters of the side markers tomorrow as well. They were a bit of a PITA.

Looks really good.
Did you get a resistor with your interior led kit? I'm looking to buy this kit for myself.

Your LED's look a lot more white than mine do, and I have the Khoalty LED's as well. My set for reference:

There are interior bulb kits that come with resistors, so they must serve a purpose. I believe it may be to prevent flickering?

No resistors. When I put in the license plate bulbs they stayed on for a few seconds even though the lights were off. Then they turned off and it's all good now. I believe the newer kits from khoalty are more white and the older ones are more blue. I'll post more pics tonight.

I believe it's to, "trick" the car into thinking that there is an incandescent bulb there.
LEDs don't draw a lot of power, so sometimes the car will misinterpret it to mean that there is no bulb there which will result in the LED not lighting up (or a bulb out warning with exterior lights).
At least that's my limited understanding. One of the electrical gurus on here I'm sure could explain it much more intelligently.
Khoalty's interior LEDs seem to work fine without a resistor in E46 interior lights.

I have to say though that the depo side markers gave me a bit of a headache. The spring tab that holds the marker in place popped off while inserting the light and fell inside my fender. I was able to grab it with a magnetic screwdriver through the door jam. But then it popped off again and was lost. This happened on BOTH sides on the first try. I had to remove the tab from the stock markers and glue them into the depo markers because they were a bit different and they don't snap in. After that they installed easily, but I was a bit frustrated after that. The tabs on the depo lights are on a more obtuse angle and require more space to bend. Bottom line. I hate those tabs.

Thanks Kayger, thats what I thought. The only use for the resistor I could think of would be for the license plate lights. But I don't think there is a BOW for those anyways.

+1 This happened to me too! One side is just hangin in there...and they're already chipping around the edges...that's what you get with aftermarket quality I guess.

Welcome. Fwiw, I put Khoa's LEDs in for the license plate lights as well and got no BOWs. I wasn't sure whether there was a BOW for those, either, but they've been in for several months and they're fine.

Ok well.. I just went to grab my gym bag from my trunk and my plate lights stayed on, this was a few minutes after I had turned the car off. They are off now, I've been home for ten minutes. Duno if I should get resistors or not? I assume its just using up some stored up voltage left from when the car was running then it runs out and they turn off. Or can this drain the battery somehow?

I too have Khoalty's LED interior set, and they are awesome...
Installed LED DRL's today. I like them, but I have to get used to it. Flash to pass works, and they function as high beams as well (obviously not much light output though).

Go to ebay and type H7 LED.

Yeah I mean I understand the hardware, the integration was my main question. Assuming as an 03 that that's not a bixenon car?
I have bixenons. The bulbs are swapped with the halogen H7 bulbs and there are 2 small ballasts for no bulb out warnings. Worked out well.
I love it. I think I'll do this too. I'm looking to have them to be pure white though, not the color of my xenons.
they're definitely not the color of my xenons. The xenons look yellow compared to the LED's lol

how do you have them on with the low beams? have you had the programming done?

Perhaps some 5k bulbs would fix that problem. :)

Yes he has. I would know. :)

Yes, I got them from iJDMToy. Comes with the ballasts. And you have my permission to steal them haha :)

Thanks BP! The pic with all lights on is the Stalk pushed forward for high beams. Xenon highs and DRL's come on. I also got the option for fogs on with high beams.

Gotta be careful with those fake xenon interior lights. Eli (previous owner) had them in my car and a few burnt out so I replaced them with LED ones, found several had actually gotten so hot they melted themselves into place so I had to break them to get them out and dremel the edges of the openings to get the other ones in.
I went with these ultimately and I love the color, brightness and low heat
