Hey all;

First and foremost, big shout out to Udubbadger for giving me the referral that allowed me to join the forum. Long time bimmerhead here, having previously owned the following:

- 1998 BMW M3 sedan, MT, boston green on dove grey, Jim Conforti CAI and tune, RE pulleys, AA short shift kit
- 2007 Z4 Coupe 3.0si, silver grey on dream red, MT, sport package, Stebro exhaust, RPI intake scoops
- 2008 135i, MT, jet black on black, sport package, Cobb tune, HPF FMIC, E93M front sway, AR design downpipe, Berk Technology full street exhaust, some BMW performance accessories, etc. (current)
- 2011 328i, AT, le mans blue on saddle brown, M sport package, premium package (Wife's car)

I've also owned an 2002 Audi TT 225QC ALMS edition, a 2005 Honda S2k, and a 1995 Nissan Maxima (first car).

Anyways, the reason why I'm here is because I'm on the hunt for my ideal ZHP. My reason for wanting to buy one is simple... I've got my first child, a daughter, on the way in 2 months. Financially, it makes sense for me to get out of my 135i while I can, pocket the money I'd make back from the sale, and buy a cheaper car that's still great to own. While I absolutely love my 1er, I don't drive it enough, I'm worried about carbon build up and reliability issues, my warranty runs out in June, and I bought it for a killer price 15 months ago and should be able to recover most of what I paid for it selling it privately.

Ideally, I'd like an '05 coupe with ~60k miles, manual transmission is an absolute must, the more loaded the better, for <$17k. I've seen a few ZHPs get sold for similar prices, so I'm confident that I can get what I want, I just need to demod, officially put my 1er up for sale and then wait until the right ZHP comes along.

Anyways, thought I'd introduce myself... you'll be seeing alot of me here. I'm not a super-poster, but I love to contribute positively when I can. This forum seems like a great place, and I like the 'family rules' that govern this place. :rockon

I've been checking the classifieds on this forum, craigslist, as well as cars.com and autotrader.com... I've purchased my last two cars out of town so I'm not limited by location. Any other sites to keep an eye on?

Welcome! I think it speaks volumes that so many of us have had several other BMWs and ultimately settle on the ZHP.

found my first one on this forum and my 2nd on bimmerforums. e46fanatics will have some every now and then, if you can wade through the filth.

+1 - but the 2002 (when restored/upgraded) might give the ZHP a fight for my heart. ZHP will still be near the top of the list for sure

I'm normally not a fan of the 1er but that is a great looking car. Welcome and good luck with the search!

Those wheels on that car are absolutely perfect! Gorgeous! Best of luck on selling it and acquiring a "not special" (http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showthread.php?983-Nough-Said-My-BMW-330-ZHP-Is-Not-Special-%28a-video-by-Kayger12%29) car.

And congrats on the soon arrival of a baby girl!

Oohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the E36 M3/4/5 in the extremely rare Boston Green (0275) over Dove Gray. Gorgeous!! I always loved this combo, but only have seen one car for sale online over the years. However, I do love my zhp!

+1 for www.e46fanatics.com That is where I found mine a few years ago with very low miles and in pristine condition! G/L with the search!!
