Has anyone replaced or repaired their door seals?
e46s are notorious for wind noise with the windows up. I also get some water inside the car after heavy rains. Looking to cure this by replacing the seals...looking for feedback from those who have, or if a Mafioso has a fix with out replacing them entirely, let us know!

Looked into it due to wind noise from driver front door. IIRC, for the sedan front there are two door seals, one that goes on the body (door frame) and one that goes on the door. First I'm going to try Gummi Pfledge on the seals to see if that swells them enough to stop the wind noise. I did replace inner lower window seal, but I don't think that keeps any water out, unless water gets on the inside of the glass then it keeps it from running down inside the door.

I was thinking about this for a minute and just forgot about it. I occasionally get some wind noise but I think it's partly due to the fact of how the 2dr window is frameless vs the frame around the 4dr. BTW, about how much to the seals run for the E46? I need to buy them for the 2002 and they're like $100 each door. Not exactly a priority at the moment

A month ago I looked into pricing for E46 sedan. My biggest problem was deciding which seal to replace, hence the Gummi Pfledge.
Front left door seal (goes on door) 5133819469
--BavAuto $49
--Pelican Parts $89 (BMW) or $42 (Febi)
--ECS Tuning $63.64
Front left doorframe seal (goes on frame) 51728194682
--BavAuto $58.95
--Pelican $60.75 (not sure of brand)
--ECS Tuning $42;

Seems a bit expensive, I have a seal issue on one of the rear doors.

Keep in mind that BMW has phased out use of gummi-pflege due to the damage caused to rubber seals by silicone products.
BMW now uses carboflo, (Carbaflo KSP105. BMW P/N 83230309627, $38.78) for all seal maintenance and squeaky seal issues.
This should be used after a silicone remover if you've been using gummi-pflege.

Do you have a link to somewhere online that I can purchase this?
All the online parts sites I used switched over to some new back-end so searching by P/N no longer works, and you're forced to drill down by text, which is unbelievably inconvenient.

TheBMWPartStore and ECSTuning worked. Thanks.
But try searching for the P/N on trademotion and you get "Select Model below to search for 83230309627 parts..." and no matter what model you pick, not to mention that 330i isn't even an option, it comes back with:
Searching for: 83230309627
No items found for search string "83230309627".
Clear Search
That's what has been happening to me on ebmwparts.com and getbmwparts.com and it's been making me want to pull my hair out recently since I've been trying to order parts for my car.

Bummer. Whoever said they have a buddy at tischer needs to tell them to get that sorted, I won't use them until that's fixed. Pure garbage.
emailed tischer, and in usual fashion got an almost instant response from evan winstead:
Hi Paul,
We feel your pain, and are doing everything we can to get that back up - the company that makes our software implemented this change without our approval, and are catching h*ll by us, and many other dealerships that use the same software until it's fixed.
Apologies for any inconvenience in the meantime.
Love this business. They are on top of their game.

Thread necromancy! I was still bothered by slight wind noise from driver's door with all windows rolled up, plus slight soft shifting or creaking noise from same door when going over certain bumps. Gummi Pfledge on the seals didn't help (though it did completely resolve a problem with my older car with trunk sticking to the seals). I thought why not try adjusting the door striker? It must be adjustable, right?
Friday I pried off the black plastic cover on the door frame. There are vertical and horizontal hash reference marks for the striker's position. You should mark the current position with a crayon or piece of tape (though I didn't). Loosened two bolts with torx T-40 socket and adjusted striker about 2mm inward and 1mm higher. Tightened bolts and replaced plastic cover.
Now door seems to move around less and haven't heard the wind noise, but need to drive it around more to be sure on the noise part.
