Just curious and wanted everyone's opinion. But will the Side Fender Vent look good on a zhp?

This is one of those ones where people are going to have strong opinions, but at the end of the day you do what makes you happy.

For me, M badges on the trunk and side vents are things that only belong on an ///M

I would't do it personally, but that's just me.

If you like it and it works for you, go for it.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. But my friend was offering it to me and I wasn't sure if i should have the M badge on my car.

it will look good for sure, which is why they put it on the M3. but I agree, the BMW crowd will throw internet tomatoes at you for certain.

OP, keep in mind that if you go with the m3 fenders you will need to either modify the fenders or get prefacelift headlights

No, with that said if I were to do this I would delete the fender grills for a more clean non-M look. My opinion on this is that there are some things that should remain exclusive to the ///M. Like Keith said, in the end it's your ride but if you start slapping fender grills and an ///M3 badge, just be ready to get some flack from others. For some, even slapping on OEM M3 side mirrors and oval rear view mirrors will open a person to some flack.....

Personally, there are some things found on the ///M that I think look good on the 3-series......side mirrors, oval rear view mirror, M3 powerdome on the hood....:)

I am torn on this. Wide body is what makes an M3 really stand out against our cars. If a BMW noob looked at both our car types the aggressiveness of the wide body would stand out more.

Anyway, I like it but agree with others that you need to have power to back it up unless you shave the side gills

One other thing, I have no problem with the quarter panels w/o louvers (grills) on a non-M but it's a huge PITA to put modify your car to get them on right. Much easier to get custom fender flares made

I've never seen anyone get crap for installing the oval M3 mirror or the side mirrors.

Like everyone else said, go for it if you want it. I actually do not think it would look good. The ZHP/M-Tech 2 look is far sleeker than that of the M3, and neither the wide body (in M3 style) nor the fender gills would flow with the design or look right on the car imo.

The dome I have mixed feelings on. On some ZHPs it seems to look good, others it does not.

You can't just slap the fenders on. I will reiterate what I said earlier in this thread, you need the preface lift headlights for those fenders. Look at the shape of the M3 signals vs. yours.

No. It was an M54 with a supercharger on it. When Samir sold the car, he stripped the supercharger from it. Duncan, who lives in San Diego, now owns it. The previous owner, Dan Tackett (who also lives in San Diego), gave me the rundown on the car from when he owned it.

Ownership was Samir, Dan, and then Duncan.
