Camera Monopod Suggestions?

Looking at monopods. There's everything from $7 to $300. I only need it occasionally at portability is key. Any recommendations? There seem to be some decent ones around $30. The main use will be camera support for video taping kids school concert events and having a little more stabilization when zoomed with my D5100, likely sitting down.

John, stabilization is not something you want to cheap out on, however you probably will never need a carbon fiber tripod with a 6ft base. Just grab one that fits the budget and has a big enough head platform to help secure and stabilize the weight of the body.
