Just rec'd a message from BMWCCA regarding 2012 Oktoberfest:

Finally!

We don't have anything official regarding the host hotel.
It will be in Columbus, OH.

Track will be Mid-Ohio.

As soon as there is more info, I will let you know.

Love Monterey. Aside from playing Pebble Beach (only played there once....cost too much),.... great weather. I have always wanted to run the Seca. One thing that I don't like? Rooms also cost too much......Maybe they won't cost much since it is not the Concourse week. But they can smell Oktoberfest to raise rates. I have a funny feeling they will choose La Vegas. But either way, Woo Hooo!
