That's been for sale for a long time:

No one mentioned price in the other thread so I wonder if they've been steadily dropping it.

The thing is I doubt this guy is in a rush to sell, if he has enough dough to let this car hibernate for so many years till now, he either is over this piece and going to buy another collectors car or the economy actually hit him hard, in which case ;(

Ridiculous price IMO, but I'm sure if he lets it sit long enough, someone with money burning a hole in their wallet will take it off his hands.

For that price you can get a mint, late-year E46 M3, an E9x 335, etc. Plenty of better options.

Still another E36. Mileage on those cars mean less to nothing.

If that's the case, let me know when you find another E36 M3 for sale with less than 3k miles on it for $10k. ;)

in a word, no.

growing up as a teenager, the E36 //M was one of my most lusted-after "everyday badass" cars. i drooled over them. by the time i'm finally able to afford one now, it's near impossible to find a low-mileage version, and even then, the maintenance costs are bleh. i simply missed them, generation-wise. "settling" now for the tail-end of the E46s...which after 3 months is the best driving car i've ever been in :)

LOL, i'll let you know when it goes to $15k.

I'm just saying...there are better options. Hell, my car was $7k cheaper than that.
