I was very sad to see my ZHP go, but this car is amazing. It is definitely not AS clean inside as my old ZHP i.e. it has a cheap looking Alpine deck, bur-berry B-pillars (yea....seriously WTF!?!) But the car's exterior, and the way it handles and drives is AMAZING!! Now to save up some $$ for maintenance/mods!
Here are some pictures for you guys to enjoy!

Nice car, congrats! So are you gonna Burberry the rest of the pillars, headliner and rear shelf? I see you also got the euro tray.

I'm actually going to get rid of the burberry and go back to the black. The PO thought it "classed" the car up, but I just can't get used to it....and I really love the stock interior.

Very sezzy! Not so sure about the Burberry pillars either, however that is my favorite perfume.
Btw, never noticed the ///M in the headrests before.

Yea, the first thing I need to do is get rid of the burberry, and then possibly looking into a Dynavin for the dash. (Hopefully Santa is good enough to me that I can get it soon!!)
Gorgeous ride! Congrats.
Don't waste your money on a Dynavin. Had the V5 and thought it was pure garbage.

Oh really? What would you suggest instead? My ZHP had the Eclipse 6620 head-unit and I liked that quite a bit.

From your pic looks like your Oval autodim mirror is bad. Get a spare mirror asap. This rear view mirror will eventually leak and the liquid will ruin anything it touches. The dash, trim pieces....everything will be toast. If it gets on your Nappa leather, there will be nothing you can do to get rid of the stains....just a word of caution.
You can contact Sybesma’s Electronics at 616-392-6911. The form is attached on post #15 of the link.

There is a word doc at the bottom of the post to download which you will fill out and send in with your damaged mirror.
An excerpt from their website....
US Residents: $75 + S/H (price may have gone up since this was copied from their website...)
Canada & Mexico residents: $150USD
Overseas residents: $175USD
We do require your defective mirror be returned to us once you have received a functioning mirror. A pre-paid return service label is provided for residents of US, Canada & Mexico only. Overseas customers will need to return the unit at their own expense. Failure to return your defective unit within 30 days will result in a non-refundable core charge of $200USD.
Please note that we do not support mirrors with the home link option.
The attached form will need to be completed in full and pictures of the following will need to be included for us to determine what mirror it is that you are in need of. If an order is sent and is incomplete we will make one email attempt to obtain information before it is discarded.
-Front and rear views of the mirror-the mirror must be removed from the windshield in order to obtain these photos.
-The plug, pins, and any wires
-The mounting bracket located on rear of the mirror.
Do not open the black casing surrounding the mirror as this will cause damage and the unit will no longer be valuable as an exchange and you will be charged the full purchase price of $200.00.
BMW OWNERS ONLY: If your mirror has a white sticker on the “neck”, and it contains a number that begins with a 7, all we need is a photo of that sticker in addition to the order form filled out to the best of your ability. If your mirror does not have this sticker, please remove your mirror and follow the above process.
You may include your credit card number on your order form or we will call you for this information when your mirror is ready to be shipped. Thank you
Thank you
Sorry I didn't respond earlier. Just got home from work and noticed the "stain" in your rear view mirror in the above pic.....
TY!
Oh really? What would you suggest instead? My ZHP had the Eclipse 6620 head-unit and I liked that quite a bit.
The Dynavin is a cheap, unfinished, low-quality unit. It aims to do everything, but does nothing (well). The only good thing I have to say about the Dynavin is the physical look - people thought it was OEM when I had mine.
I'm a software developer and in my line of work I'm exposed to various (new) tools on a daily basis; this gives me a great opportunity to use about a billion different user interfaces, and with that in mind, I can confidently say that Dynavin's UI was designed by a malnourished monkey. Quite simply, it's idiotic. Rather than giving you easy access to common functionality and fitting a good amount of info on the screen, they slap on huge, ugly, and illegally ripped off icons that take up half the page and are never used. The fonts are hideous. To get any use out of the device you have to spend 30 seconds jumping through hooks any time you want to do something. No thought has gone into the UI.
Add to that the following complains from my ~1.5 months of use:
- forget about having iPod control; browsing your iPod's music is nearly impossible; no resume, either.
- steering wheel control is simply stupid - to go IN a folder/playlist/whatever you need to HOLD a button for several seconds, but to go back you press a single button like you normally would; ask yourself which of these features you'll be using more when you're drilling down to a particular song/artist/whatever. Reversing these two button options is an obvious choice, but good luck getting Dynavin to do that
- USB function generally works, but not with every USB stick; takes several minutes to "start up" after you turn on the car (length of time depends on how many songs you have on the stick)
- bluetooth connectivity works fairly well, but you can't see contacts on the Dynavin
- decent navigation software is very expensive, and "other options" don't work well at all
- underlying OS is outdated and in Mandarin, so forget about doing any serious work there without flashing the unit w/ new firmware - officially unsupported
- half the buttons on the front of the device are completely useless
- bluetooth music stops if you go into Navi
- music stops (regardless of source) if you go into the 'home' screen (such as when you want to turn on the rear camera)
- my iPod video did not turn off when the car was shut off - apparently this is only the case with my specific version of the iPod, but sounds shady
What I'd recommend will vary depending on what you want from the unit. One thing I can definitely add to the list of "stay the hell away from" is anything made by DICE. Curious as to why? Read this thread (http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=857486).
I had a USA Spec iPod adapter in my previous car and it was fantastic. If I had to do everything all over again, that's where my money would go.

@cakM3 Thanks a lot! I will definitely be doing this in the VERY near future!
@kerunt Wow, thanks for that.....I hadn't heard many bad things about the units until now....that will definitely steer my decision clear of those!

I remember that car from Cars & Coffee. IIRC, it used to have bronze colored wheels.

Yeah, I did the Dynavin. Honestly, I probably wouldn't do it again. I would keep the Business Radio and the Dice link as I had before. :dunno

100k, but just had a lot of maintenance and big ticket items replaced so I won't need to worry about any of that anytime soon!

Very nice, they certainly are phenominal cars. The only thing that always worried me about the Ms is being able to do most if not all of my own maintenance.
