That's a very popular software, up there with Shark. The advantage to AA is they will customize the tune for your car. Say you have an intake and headers, they can account for that to give you higher performance gains.

There are a few threads around our forum about this s/w. My .02: First, just so you are aware, I got mine on a group buy for $300, and it was worth it to me, but not a ton of performance gain. My mpg went up, and throttle response improved. At the retail price, it's a little pricey for me. But, if you have headers, etc, it might be more worth it as they can customize it for that as was previously stated. (I don't have headers).

I sharked my ZHP and am glad I did. Performance is improved with no apparent hesitation. After sharking mine it seems like it pulls better in the lower RPM range. If I had to start over, would I do this again? Heck yeah...:thumbsup

I think if "feeling" faster is worth whatever money you are paying then it's worth it. If you're being timed on the track then put the money towards advance driver training. It's not like you're going to get 3-4 car lengths ahead of a drag race when you used to lose by 1 car length. BMW has done a great job on tuning the vehicle from the factory! I should know, I had a tuner fly in and personally try to tune my car on the dyno with very conservative results. If you want a faster car it'll take much more than just software.

Agree on the driver training, you can always get better at something. I also think that sometimes it helps helps if you just want to punch it to pass and a little extra oomph is there. No driver training needed for that.

That's when you spend stupendous amounts of money to be able to pass that one car a few times a year instead of backing down and going behind them. That takes mental training!! LOL.
