This is the lighting fixture in the C-Pillar for a sedan. I tried to pry out carefully but it still won't budge. There has to be a technique that I am missing without breaking the lens or the fixture. Thanks.

You should remove pillar, starting at most forward corner, reach behind, unplug light, then it is very easy to pop out.

That sucks....How hard to remove C-Pillar? Are they just held by clips?

Not hard. Start where I told you and it will pop off. Don't pull out too far, as you still need to unplug light.

Don't need to pull the pillar to get the light off.

Take a screwdriver, there are slots where you can stick it in and pry it out. Work around the light...it is tight in there, they are metal clips though. You won't break them

Right. I was worried about him messing up pillar fabric, since this is first time.

I did what M0nk3y said, but I put a microfiber in between the screwdriver and the pillar so that I didn't damage the pillar when I took it off. I recommend you do the same.

Yeah...but if he doesn't remove the pillar, he won't be able to check his antennae connections tight :biggrin

I have the plastic Trim & Moulding Tool Set. I just want to make sure that the flat blade will be good enough for me to pry out the fixture without screwing something up....it has been bad days lately on my ZHP.
