Call me if you want help, I'll pm you my number
DW, it's not like the one we have where you just drill holes and put it on, the ///M one is a full replacement

I agree too. It came with my step-fathers 335i W/ M-Package. This is one of my mods on my to-do list for this spring/summer

footrest was very easy to remove but alas....the ones I have do not fit sedans....:( Forgot one minor detail...:) I did manage to get the new ones mounted then realized that the contours did not match my sedan so out it went. Guess I can use these on my ///M (black for greys...)
3 screws, one plastic pop rivet and several connections and the underpanel underneith the steering wheel comes out.
one retaining screw for the hood release and one retaining screw for the kick panel. That's it....
Once you have them removed the rest is easy.

My old one is VERY broken. Cracked, in fact. Foot gets stuck in the crack often.
How sturdy is this footrest? I do lots of foot tapping when listening to music, so it has to be durable; would buy it if it fits the bill.

pic of said crack? I would think its gonna be made the same sturdiness essentially with a thin metal plate over the plastic
