Added coolant yesterday and tallied it up to an air bubble. It didn't need much coolant to raise the gauge. No spray patterns.
Checked it this morning and was greeted with coolant sprayed across my cap and airbox again like it was before I replaced the radiator.
I'm now sourcing parts from ECS to just replace the entire fucking cooling system. Fuck this car.

I hereby cordially invite the CEO of FCP Euro to place his lips on my butthole.
If ECS Tuning required me to get kicked in the balls before placing an order, I would still prefer their service over FCP Euro.
Try the OEM coolant cap?
Yeah that's what Justin said I should test as well. Gonna switch it when I get home and see if that helps. If I remember correctly I still had the coolant splash before I bought the G.A.S. cap so I don't think that's it.

that sucks - BTDT. here's what i would do (and did): wipe everything down so the coolant traces are gone. take the car out and get it up to temp - then pop the hood and see where it's leaking from. my issue was actually with the hose in the backside of the expansion tank (down near the PS hoses) - i didn't get it seated fully and it backed itself off slowly over about 800kms - but it left coolant splashes way up on top like you're seeing.
it's not a complex system - you'll figure it out. :cheers

That's a good suggestion. I've removed the expansion tank twice, both times checking all of the hoses and the connections. I'm pretty sure the hoses are on well enough. I still think the radiator was part of the problem, and I don't regret replacing it. Just going to replace everything and hope that fixes it.
Gonna go drink some water. Helps with all the salt...

I've been through 3 gallons of 50/50 coolant since December of last year. It's not that I've bled the system, it's the system that is actively bleeding lol

My cooling system is at that point in its life that things need to be replaced anyway. The good news is I don't think my car is leaking coolant, I'm just retarded. Checked the level again yesterday and its still perfectly fine and within parameters. When I added coolant the other day, it was raining when I popped the hood, so that might have been why I didn't see the coolant stains (see below pic) - When I checked it the next day, it was cold and dry again. At least now I can wait until its warmer out so I can enjoy some room temperature coolant in my mouth.

Got all the parts I need for a Bi-Xenon install and new wiring to make the B-Xenon's work. Just waiting on the LCM. I'm so freaking excited to get this set up I can hardly stand it.
I also ordered a new water pump, thermostat and upper radiator hose to replace in the future warmer months to completely rehaul my cooling system with OEM parts. Thank you ECS for easy delivery.
I forgot who mentioned it, but I ended up buying this Tesa wire loom harness tape from Amazon. (https://www.amazon.com/Tesa-Wire-Loom-Harness-Mercedes/dp/B00EH6IZ6Y/ref=pd_nav_hcs_bia_t_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=41G470TZ58HSJHCWR72H) Great suggestion. I'll probably use it for wiring the Bi-Xenon's and I still need to fix/wrap my wire loom in the trunk lid when I did the solder job.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to close the rubber part of the wire loom at the trunk? I want to get it water tight again to prevent damage but I don't want to make it too tight so the wire break again.

You can try rubber tape... it looks like electrical tape but it's rubber and it stretches and sticks good. It's used for making water tight electrical connections. You can find it at Lowes or Home Depot. I would think that any type of goo like silicone, would just make a mess...

If you don't wrap it with tape, a few black zip ties will do the trick.

Yeah I'd like something that can be removed if I ever have to service the wire loom again. I'll look on Amazon for this and see what comes up.

That wouldn't really waterproof it though, just hold it together

Alright so Justin helped me put in my Bi-Xenons tonight. They work great, are bright as shit, and I'm pretty sure are aimed a bit high so I will need to level them so people stop hating me.
The install was super easy and didn't have any issues. hahaha jk nothing with this car goes according to plan.
Spent a good 5 minutes trying to pop my hood. It got stuck and refused to open. The inner bolts holding the headlight on the car were a bit of a pain, but they eventually came out. The bracket holding the headlight in needed to be altered. A dremel and saw were used to get rid of the extra piece blocking the spot for the ballast. The new headlights went in, tried to connect them but one of the connectors for the inner bowl on the driver side was refusing to clip in. We just swapped that old inner bulb housing for the one in my old halogens and it finally worked.
It was too fucking cold and too late to work on wiring the shutters for the bi-xenons, so that will be done another day. Right now I'm just happy to actually have headlights that let me see at night.
Big thank you to Vas for lending me an LCM he had that came from an M3. It worked great, although it has a few quirks.
The LCM thinks the car is an M3, so it changes my tail lights a bit. The brake lights on my RCR's are always on, and when the brakes are pressed, the lights get brighter. I have LED's in the brake lights, so they are super bright all the time. The bottom lights don't light up at all, since an M3 doesn't technically have them. It looks silly as shit right now but again I'm thrilled to get this working.

Trip back up north was great, minus the beltway traffic at the tail end. It did give me a chance to listen to the exhaust burble when you let off the throttle at low speeds.
Car drives great, I'll be honest it's fucking scary fast, but I was responsible.

Car was sold to a local guy last night. He really liked the car and paid cash. Gave him all the old parts with the car that I still had lying around and will just hope he takes care of it as well as I did.
