Welcome southerners and east coasters! I'm new to the BMW scene so I have no idea what kind of events happen in this area. I know I love the weather! I'm down in FL, where are all my southern brothers at?

Isn't North Carolina considered the mid atlantic? I threw it in the southeast, though.

Thanks Marcus. I belong in the land of fried chicken, corn bread, shrimp n grits, firearms, and BMW's. They just all seem to mesh together organically. :dunno

I was in NC last year (Charlotte and then Shelby). Beautiful part of the country. I could see myself living there -- no problem.

next time come by asheville. one of the hippest, most beautiful places around. its got the beatnik feel of a kerouak novel, and hundreds of thousands of acres of national forest land around it. one of my favorite examples of why i love it: every friday night there is a drum circle in a park in the middle of downtown. It usually has 100+ drummers (bongo drums, etc) with another 200+ people onlooking, dancing, etc. Its great when people in suits and evening gowns are standing around 100 hippies just killing it on the bongos, and to watch the onlookers get down and dig it too. And the beat just echos off all the buildings for blocks.
