have only ran LM25's before. However, something tells me this car being lighter and DSC a little older than the last 2 BMW's I had some WS60's might not be a bad idea.

i managed to snag a set of new blizzaks mounted on some reps (don't know the style, don't care much besides that they are straight and true) of the new model blizzaks from craigslist for 600 listed, got em for 550. i just drove through the snow today around 5 pm and it was difficult to lose traction with all the dsc and traction crontrol off. The ones i grabbed are WS-70's.

yeah those are the studless ice/snow. the LM25s are performance winter, sticky but not as good in the mush.

Thanks for the input fellas. I'm definitely going to need some heavy duty ones. Part of my job requires me to drive in this weather at all hours. These are the wheels I'll be picking up with no tires

well my point is that 2-3 days turns into 3, 4 or even 5 with the drive if you wanna be there for most of it. Looks like its about 15hrs or so which doesn't count any time spent stopping.
