Mine was a little less and it was 3yrs old/30k miles but no CPO. Also, I think CPO is only good to 5yrs/100k from original sale (whichever first) so for a 07 that would be 2012, so despite 64k left on it, it's really only good for another year. Find out what options they have exactly (bluetooth, nav, etc.) as that might make the price more reasonable but still it's a bit high for my taste. Good looking car anyways

JP, CPO is good for six years. So, good until 2013. You're right, though. Time will likely elapse before miles are reached.

I would check the history of the car reference recalls - there has been a series of issues with the dual turbo engines. In fact, certain components of the twin turbos now have extended warranty from BMW whether they are CPO or not.

The biggest issue with the N54 motor is the high pressure fuel pump (HPFP). BMW bought my 2009 335 back under California's lemon law earlier this year because of two failed pumps (and suspect third pump).

The HPFP is now warrantied for 10 years or 120,000 miles, whichever comes first. It's, as Ranger said, warrantied beyond the factory warranty or CPO coverage.

good to know guys. this is loaded and the owner is a cfo of a hospital. I wasn't going to go over$23k, but given my infatuation with the zhp, i'm going to pass or watch if his price ever come down

i don't think it was the turbos but more of the HPFP that was the large issue. Also I believe all the 07's were entitled to the oil cooler as they weren't included originally but BMW deemed them necessary.

As far as I know, all of the 6-speed manuals with sport package got the oil cooler from day one. The automatics did not. Beginning in March 2007, all of the AT 335s equipped with the sport package got the oil cooler. However, if you did not have a sport package, regardless of 6MT or AT, you did not get the oil cooler.

But now you're saying that BMW decided to retrofit all of the '07 vehicles that didn't come with oil coolers? Did not know that. Last I heard (some time ago), BMW was holding fast to its position that non-sport 335s did not need oil coolers.

No you're right it was the sports pk only ones.
