Just sold my 2004 330i ZHP w/manual transmission due to left knee problems so I'm looking for an automatic. I've searched and searched and now that I've got mine sold, I can't seem to find many zhp's that fit what I'm looking for. Any help from the zhpmafia.com members would be greatly appreciated.

I've been talking to the dealer that has this one http://usedatlanticinfiniti.netlook.com/detail/used-2005-bmw-330-i-jacksonville-florida-a1252113.html
The price seems almost too good for the mileage. I know the front bumper needs to be addressed but shouldn't be too big of an issue. It's a 9 hour drive from where I live and I'm on the fence about going to look at it or not.

Looks like a nice car. I'm looking for an Imola red or maybe an Alpine white zhp. Thanks

In my "looking for low-mileage 6mt travels", I've run across numerous Imola autos - even some in your part of the country. You should have no problem at all finding one in the price- and miles range you're looking for. Lots and lots in the 80k-90k ballpark. Alpine and auto... I've seen way fewer of those. I think this one in Charlotte, NC is the only one I've seen recently...
http://charlotte.craigslist.org/cto/2580565506.html
I don't know anything about the car, but I've seen it for weeks... The guy has lowered his price several times from $14,500 down to $12,900 at this point. The car only has 72k miles on it, too. Seller says it "has rebuild title due to theft". If you can get a good PPI, verify that there was no damage, and you plan on keeping the car for a long time, could be a cheap way to get into an Alpine ZHP.

Forgot about that... I'm even watching it to see where it lands. Got busy and missed the Las Vegas car that closed last night for $12,550. I was interested in it, but I didn't like the sellers payment terms, so I just watched.
Hmmm... $10,200 and reserve not met. I suppose his reserve is probably his craigslist price or thereabouts... I don't think I could pay that much for a salvage title car unless I could be really, really certain of any/all defects, and unless I planned on keeping the car for many years.

I've seen that white one. Like the previous post says it has a salvage title. I've found 3 imola red autos within my area. One doesn't have xenons, one has tan interior, and the other one is te furthest away from. I'm talking to the dealer that had it trying to get them to come down on price.

I did the exact same thing - I was totally bummed that I forgot (1 owner, 72k mi, $12,550), but the payment thing was a little weird.

I've been talking to them for the past few days and I'm not sure I'm going to go afterall. First of all you can see the damage to the front bumper, they had the A and C pilar trim pieces "fixed" and I have asked for more pics but they said that they have a company come in and take their pics for them. I wanted some closer shots but they would not take any pics for me. And now the salesman had back tracked on what he said. He originally told me $1000 would hold the car for the weekend but now they have to have the full amount we agreed on before they will hold it. On top of that it doesn't have cold weather package which isn't a requirement but would be nice. So I just don't have a good feeling about this one.

The one in Jacksonville has a place on the front bumper that has been touched up with a "brush" according to the salesman. That's probably why the bumper is sagging on the left front.

I made it back to Salt Lake late Saturday night last week. The car ran perfectly the entire way. I couldn't be happier.

Well, I'm at the airport in Jacksonville waiting for a flight back to Knoxville. The car was nothing like I had expected. It looks like the car has been in the sun 24/7. All of the rubber was cracked, clearcoat on the roof rail trim was peeling, there were touch up spots all over the car. Mechanically it was in good shape, but I can fix mechanical things, I just hate repairing paint and cosmetic things. Oh well, the search goes on.

That must be why they have "professional photographers" come in and take the photos of their cars and why the salesman didn't want to send me any more photos.
