I managed to secure a loan from Virginia credit union yesterday and then spent most of the afternoon working on logistics to get the cars from NH. Needless to say, I'm riding on the bus now from Logan Airport over to NH to meet the soon to be PO and take ownership of a 2004 imola/black zhp!

I'm hoping the drive back to Richmind doesn't get too washed out but I'll be stocking up on some rain-x to help deal with whatever this hurricane throws at me. I'm looking forward to an exciting drive back in the new ride and will post some pictures when I get them!

Looking forward to activeky participating on the forum.

Great! Looking forward to pics.

Hoping you have the insurance worked out already? I bought car in Houston once and they wouldn't insure me because it was 2 days before a hurricane. I had to wait until after. Apparently they don't want people buying insurance right before a potentially dangerous event just because of that.

Got the insurance lined up already, didn't even ask about the hurricane haha. Trying to get it back home and into the garage asap!

Sweet! In for details later. The weather shouldn't be too terrible before you can drive back. Not supposed to be awful until Saturday.

I noticed you were in NH so you have other options:

If you want to stay away from the coast - is to drive west (I-90) towards Albany, NY. Here, you can continue driving I-90 West to I-88 West. Take I-88 west to I-81 in Binghampton, NY. Then shoot south through PA. You can always stick to I-81 thru PA/MD/VA and get on I-64 to Richmond.

What way were you taking? I-95? There are a few places to come across into PA and get away from the coast (I-80, I-76, etc).

Made it back down to Richmond just fine. Ran into some ran coming out of Richmond. Took I-95 most of the way but got through pretty early. I'll get some pictures soon. I wish I could get it into a garage for the storm, but I'm crossing my fingers nothing falls on it =(

Car ran like a champ on the drive down, just need an exhaust of some sort so I can hear the car while I'm driving haha. The M3 has a UUC RSC36 which I really like, and a friend had the UUC TSE3 which I also really liked but they're $1400 new from UUC. What are you guys running on yours?

I realized that nothing I liked was cheaper than $1500. :(
You can get the TSE3 muffler, which is about $700-800. The $1500 is for the full catback, so if you only want sound, a muffler is a better bet.

Congrats on the pickup, btw!
