A little about me:

Name's Oliver, 26 yrs old, originally from VA and moved to Ohio to attend The Ohio State University back in '04. Currently working in cable sales and pursing a MBA at OSU. Love to golf and fish and down the occasional brew at the bar still (although not as easy as I'm getting older). Anyways, found this forum tonight geared to ZHP's which is awesome as I'm still learning to get to know my car. Never lurked, so it's going to take a minute to get to know you guys, but I'm ready jump right in and get to know everyone.

BMW and Me:

Lucky enough to have won a small fortune for being 19 years in online poker to buy my first BMW when I left for college, it was a black manual 2000 328ci which is rare I think b/c I think they were more popular in 2001? Correct me if I'm wrong but that's what I've heard. Dumb purchase for a 19 year old, I was young and dumb but never regretted buying that car. Anyways I instantly fell in love and will probably never own anything but a BMW. But I'm not even a car guy, by that I mean I'm not very car savvy. I traded in and upgraded to a 6-speed 2003 330i ZHP two years ago without really knowing what I had. But I did notice this BMW was different to any other BMW I have ever seen b/c of the M3 components and unique body style. Took it home and found out I had a rare 3 series ZHP. It's time for me to get to know what I'm truly lucky to own, and how to get the most out of my car. Can't wait to learn from you guys and join the community!

My first suggestion is to read this: http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showthread.php?1789-Frequently-Asked-Questions-%28FAQ%29-About-the-BMW-E46-330-ZHP-Performance-Package-Option

Welcome. There are alot of BMWs enthusiasts in columbus, if you like to autocross you'll be in love. That's where I autocross and about 5 others do every year, at Ackerman Lot

Welcome Oliver!

I'm originally from Youngstown Ohio. I too bought my ZHP and didn't even know what I had until I did some research and learned more about them. I joined a few BMW forums to learn more about my car. This one is my favorite, E46fanatics is second. There is alot of great info and DIY threads on them.
