Just as the title reads. I have a 2003 ZHP sedan that is black with black leather, 6-speed, has 55k miles on it and I'm looking for $17.5 although I am a little bit flexible. The car is in mint condition. It’s an amazing car and that’s just why I bought it last spring. Exceeded my expectation with flying colors although I'm starting to realize it is a bit more car than I can handle. I'm looking to downgrade a bit and need something with awd to get to work and commute to school in the winter. Let me know if you have any questions. I have all service records. Also I'm located in Bethlehem, Pa. Thanks for looking!
BTW: The car will come with brand new all weather rubber floor mats and an outdoor car cover that has never been used. Also the car has drilled and slotted rotors w/ ceramic brake pads that were put on about a year ago (No more brake dust! Plus they look amazing!)

Have better pics? Like much closer? Nice car, I'm sure you'll move it. GLWS

You mean the pads are ceramic......
Why don't you keep it and chill here....

Do you have more and larger pics? The ones in the craigslist ad are inadequate to properly portray its exterior condition.

I know I'm sorry for the poor quality pictures. Craigslist kills picture quality although my pictures are to large to be uploaded through the site. I'll figure something out soon.

If you post here, even with big pictures, it will get resized. Give it a whirl.
Better yet, host your pics at photobucket for free. Then you can link them here.

Even though we would prefer you keep the ZHP, we are here to support you. However, you have to do us, and the new owner, a favor. Be sure to tell them about ZHPMafia.com.

Its very hard for me to sell this car. I often step back and eye it up a bit and think to myself, damn that car is sexy haha. And of course the driving experience like no other. I made no mistakes in picking out the best car I could buy this time around. Although at this point in my life I need something a bit more practical. I assure you I will be back in a zhp someday. I will always love german style and engineering. This site is great. Definitely a nice escape from all the M3 owners on e46fanatics who think they're tough sh*t. I will surely spread the word.

Just out of curiousity, how isn't the ZHP practical for you? It's got 4 doors, a trunk, and it's a ZHP... :confused

It has heated seats and music?

Your right zhp's are the more practical sports sedan when it comes to bmw. Snowboarding is big part of my life. I work at my local hill and when it snows rear wheel drive isn't going to get me to far. I also take alot of weekend trips. The trunk just isn't quite big enough. Im looking to get into an xi wagon or some other awd wagon. I'm sorry guys! I feel like I'm offending everyone by selling my car.
ejhahn20
12-14-2010, 08:36 AM
And yes it had heated seats and music (CD player with harman kardon sounds system).
Marcus-SanDiego
12-14-2010, 08:46 AM
Nah. You are not offending anyone. Just trying to see why people sell these cars.
ejhahn20
12-14-2010, 08:57 AM
Maybe if I get lucky and its doesn't sell soon ill be forced to slap a roof rack on it and keep it haha.
Marcus-SanDiego
12-14-2010, 08:59 AM
Ask Dane about that. He has a roof rack. Loves it. Now he'll never sell it!

Glad to see you've migrated over here!
I'm done with contributing to E46F. It's a great wealth of knowledge, but I hate the way some people act there. It's getting rediculous.

I vote to keep the car. Throw on a set of Blizzaks and a roof rack and you'll be set.
Plus, you can chill out with the mafia.

From another PA ZHP owner, I'm sorry to hear you're selling it, but yeah life doesn't always go as planned. Beautiful car, good luck with the sale!
Also, FWIW, I have my ZHP on Pirelli snow tires over the winter and it is great in the snow, even on the hills and country roads of Centre County. I like adb's idea: slap on some snow tires and a roof rack, you'll be good to go! Probably cheaper than getting a new car even if you're getting something cheaper.

^^ yep yep. good set of snows and you'll go anywhere awd does. PA owner as well!(non-zhp)

Roof rack, roof rack, roof rack!!
I love the way they look, and am actually thinking of taking up either surfing or snowboarding (in a place that sees an inch of cnow every ten years and with no ocean) just to justify putting one on my car!
Seriously, you will offend no one on this site. Good luck with whatever you decide. Especially if it involves keeping your ZHP :p

the car is still for sale! sorry about the confusion. i had some second thoughts about selling it the other day when i got the car out for the first time since fall. the car does need to go though so it is still for sale for anyone who's interested. i communicated this to tachi^ but i believe he was already committed on an evo in his area.

sorry i've been very busy lately so i haven't been keeping up with everything here. jonnyrad^ I know im realizing that now but if the right number comes along its gonna have to go. Im sure if i dont end up keepimg it ill be back in a zhp or some other bmw a few years down the road when im bit more financially sound. And danewilson77^ the cold weather package is great. My issues are that number one i feel bad getting my car dirty inside and out which is pretty unavoidable with my lifestyle especially in the winter months. Second i remember my first experience in snow with they car where only a dusting had fallen and i was sliding everywhere. Definitely a stressful experience. I'm definitely not out there to get rid on the car asap but if the right person comes along that will take care of the car and give me a fair price then i see that as the right move for me at this point in my life as sad as that is.
Thanks everyone for you interest! The only thing better than a zhp is the community of people who own them. You guys are such a tight knit group of people and i love it! Everyones knowledgeable and respectful. Definitely a breath of fresh air compared to other forums.

These cars do very well in the winter with a set of winter tires. Those AWD crutches will only be effective when accelerating, while the winter tires will help you while accelerating, turning and stopping. I can understand if you need to sell for financial reasons though.
