Georgia Hang? Any interest?

So there are a few of us from Georgia now and I'm thinking that some kind of get together is in order. We cant let the West Coast peeps have all the fun.
I'm still thinking out loud at this point, if there is a little interest (like even 2 or 3 other people) I will be happy to put some time into specifics. A simple day thing for starters is probably appropriate. Maybe a hang, followed by a cruise and a meal? Obviously pics will be taken. Caffeine and Octane the next day?


I'm thinking Saturday October 8th. plenty of time to plan, nice weather etc.
We can pick a place near the perimeter for convenience.

If anyone close to Georgia wanted to make the drive, please feel free.

I know this is kind of vague, I didn't want to put a ton of time into it in case this thread just collects dust. So let me know and I will do the rest. Could be fun!

I figure we get there at 11:00 take a few shots, bs a bit, grab a slice and see what the consensus is.I'm not very familiar with the area so is anyone knows of an exceptional spot nearby for pics please let me know. Its a Saturday so if we wind up at a place that serves beer, I wont be mad.

Definitely nice to see you guys doing this stuff. I will say that the west coast guys do enjoy plenty of get togethers. They're great because you get to know the online peeps in an offline setting. Makes the online setting -- afterward -- feel very enjoyable.

I see a bunch of ZHPs here in downtown Atlanta. There are at least 3 others here at the Delta parking lot (an Alpine white vert coupe, a TiAg sedan, and a steel grey sedan). Haven't found out who any of them are, but my guess is they're not so much enthusiasts. :roundel

Anywho. What's the plan for getting together on the 8th? Caffeine & Octane is out of the question. I'd possibly be in for some shenanigans (on the cheap :p).

Adam, I live about half a mile form Big Pie in the Sky, exceptional pizza I might add. I know of some areas near lake Acworth and Allatoona that would promote great photo shoots which aren't too far away as well. You can count me in for the outing.

Nice! Unfortunately, my wife has out of town family staying at her parents place in the N.Georgia Mountains. After the meet, I'm heading up for the rest of the weekend.
If this wasn't the case, Id gladly give you, and Dane for that matter, a place to crash.

That is correct. The Sept. 22 meet will be my last hoorah in ATL. Halston and I know we have every intention of shooting after the meet and since we both fly out early Friday morning in different directions, we figured we could just sleep on the plane. My recommendation is to make it to this one if you can. This is actually being billed as the Pswirley Meet on BF.c, E46f, and Revlimited.

So it boiled down to Steven (05ZippyZHP) His father and myself.
The Pizza was great. We thoroughly inspected (and drove each) others cars.
Then we headed off for some pictures. Small turnout but I had a great day, It was a pleasure meeting you and your dad, Steven. It must be sweet having a knowledgeable motor head for a father. Loved that ///M3!


We are going to try to do it again next month. Hopefully more of you Georgians will be able to make it. And I PROMISE the pics will only get better :scratchinghead

It was super bright or intense shade. My Active-D lighting was off so these are the least horrible of the set.
