Is anyone interested in trading E46 all-weather floor mats for E90 all-weathers? Here's the story.
I finally purchased the retaining hooks for my floor mats, made for an E46. But, I forgot to check the holes on the floormats, which are way off from where the E46 hook points are. I have E90 mats in my car.
I'm not looking to go spending over a hundred bucks on decent OEM floormats for my car, so I'm wondering if anyone wants to trade...

Do the e90's even closely fit the E46....

They fit perfectly. They even say BMW on them.

Because the way I enter and exit the car makes my floor mats slide around too much. I'm hard on the floor when I get in and out. The floor mat hooks I bought (MatGrip III) are for an E46, and the mounting holes for the E90 floor mats do not line up with the hooks I bought. It's driving me NUTS.

I could trade you my all weathers, and throw my carpets back in....
They're black.

You could, but then you would be in the same situation. What says you?
My carpet ones are almost trashed; the velcro is almost fully ripped off the bottoms, otherwise I'd put those back in...

Mmmmm....still thinking. You don't think a guy could put in some nice holes in the E90 mats?

The thought hasn't even crossed my mind... damn it Dane.
I'll have to try it at some point, though to find someone with the right tool to do it might prove a little difficult.

Worked like a charm; the rubber was a lot easier to poke a hold through than I thought. Only problem now is that I don't know how well that hole is going to last with the constant tugging on it. Since it wasn't designed to have a hole poked in those locations, I can only imagine that over time it's going to enlarge the hole and make it useless. BUT, it's good enough for the time being.
Thanks for the idea...

Will you just enter and exit your car gently? Please?

Hey, it's either push the floormats hard while getting in or out or brushing up on my alcantara bolsters. I choose to save the bolsters, thank-you-very-much. :p

Concur...understand.
