Got my '04 Mystic Blue coupe a few months ago. Earlier this weekend a few forum members helped me sort out a sunroof issue I was having. Posting a few pics in here is the least I can do to say thanks. Sorry for the iPhone quality (or lack thereof). I was going to take a few nicer shots but things got rained out this weekend. But when I stopped for gas this evening, the light was interesting.

I checked on ZHPregistry.net and there are only 2 other cars that match mine exactly out of the 750+. I love Mystic Blue though, I held out for a few months to get exactly what I wanted and don't regret it one bit.

OK this inspires me to get a good photo of my mystic blue sedan.
I've only seen one mystic blue ZHP out in the wild beyond mine, and it was on a business trip in Vancouver BC last fall. Go figure.....

Good eye. They are Contours from an E36 M3. I bought them last fall from a guy who was running them on his E46 M3 with the competition package. He used spacers but they fit fine (albeit pretty snug) on my car without the spacers.

Yup. Too low by about 1-1.5 inches. gives you the perfect opportunity to debadge.

9 times out of 10 it means bodywork was done, but you never know.

Proper location is defined somewhere, let me start looking.

for starters, a rough idea:


On my 325xi:
the italicized "i" is 2.5 cm to the left of the trunk edge. This space is consistent from top to bottom of the "i"
The "325xi" is 19.5 cm wide, with characters evenly spaced except slightly greater spacing between the "5" and the "x".
For height position, the "i" bottom is 5 cm above the gap between trunk lip and the trunk lights. Characters are level.

Yeah, so maybe they're right. They looked WAY off to me but maybe its the proximity to the trunk trim that results from the C being in there too. Based of Hermes, height-wise they look right on.

Love the Mystics guys! It was my first choice when I was looking for a ZHP. Had my eyes on an 06 with black leather in NC but they wanted $6000 more than I paid for my Imola 04. There are still times that I wish I had went ahead and bought it anyway but my car has been so good to me mechanically that I am happy with my decision.

The badges look like they are pretty close to mine and afaik they are factory....
