I recently was offered a trade. 18" OZ Ultraleggera's in black for my style 135's. I really like both wheels and I'm not sure what to do. What do you guys think I should do? Keep my style 135's or get the OZ's?

If you're trying to preserve the look of the ZHP, then keep the 135s. If, though, you don't care about it, then pick which one appeals the most to you. I like the 135s better.

I don't really care about preserving the ZHP look. Thanks for the input, Boss.

O wouldn't get rid of the 135s even if you got another set. Rock them both, winters and summers

If someone could photoshop them for me, I would be truly grateful :)

I prefer the contrast of the silver on black. But in the end it all depends on the look you are going for. Your ride is going to look good no matter which way you go.

Not a fan of black wheels, or that style, so the choice would be easy for me - keep the 135's. But looks are subjective, so you gotta do what you think looks best....

Black wheels are not my thing. Stick with silver.

I gotta say... I love black wheels on certain cars... But, I also love the 135's, and I'm not a big fan of black wheels on a black car... There just isn't enough contrast or something, and the car ends up looking like it's floating... Or something.

That's my .02.

what about just getting your 135's powder coated? I'm debating doing that for mine, but I do drive an Imola so the look would be different

Think Im going to pass on the wheels gone. That photoshop really turned me off to the idea. Also I don't think I can part with my 135s, Ill miss them too much. Im going to wait till I have the cash and get a nice set of lms. Ill probably get a square set up of 18" m3 wheels for the winter.

Zaid, As you know, I am also a great admirer of the all-black look, but I have to agree with most of the above posters and recommend sticking with the 135s. To my eye, all black rims look too much like hub-less rims from a distance. I also feel (and this is just MY opinion) that if you switch to all black rims it looks like you're trying just a little too hard to prove your point. Finally, the 135s are one of the signatures of the ZHP and make it look a little less special without those wheels.

Fixed that for ya, B&T. :biggrin We cannot have the ZHP looking special in any way.

Good choice on sticking with the 135s. The contrast makes the car pop a little better. In a not special way, of course.
