Anyone in or near Silver spring 20906 zipcode have a 46mm Socket that they can lend. It will have to be today or never as would like to have it before Bimmmerfest.

I work in Gaithersburg but didn't drive the carpool today.

I got a cheap 36mm socket from autozone/advance auto. Wonder if they'd let you use/rent one?

I'd love to help you out brother but I don't have a 46mm socket. My dad has a lot of tools too. 20906 is Aspen Hill area I think. I'm maybe 5 minutes from there. Small world.

If you can rent the socket just keep the receipt and return it right after you use it. Just say you grabbed the wrong size or something. They almost never care and let you return it no problem as long as there isn't a giant gash in the side of it or something.
