Year(s): any, but the more recent the better
Budget: probably under $20k, because i don't feel like the market for these cars is any higher, not because of any cash limitations.
Desired location of vehicle: anywhere "south" or if a car is up north, it hasn't been driven in the winter
Desired Mileage: lower the better, probably won't consider anything over 80k.
Transmission type: manual
Desired number of Doors: sedan probably preferred, but could go coupe as well
Desired Color combos: any, but titanium with gray leather is probably the least desirable.
Desired Packages: loaded.
Funds lined up? i do have the cash in hand to do this if i had to.
Have a car you need to sell first? need? no. but yes it would be best.

i'm not opposed to paying to ship a vehicle, driving somewhere and towing it back myself, or buying a plane ticket and driving it back. i did see the one listed with 14k miles, but $25k is a silly asking price in my opinion. get that down to $20k and we might have a deal, i even already have a trip planned to MN in 2 weeks, so i could bring my trailer. i would probably prefer to do any transaction through a dealer so i can avoid the sales tax with my trade in, but it's not a requirement.

i used to road race with SCCA as my hobby, but i don't really have the time to do that anymore so i'm selling my truck (KBB value of $28k+ so i do have the funds for this) and going to pick up something more interesting. i've built my own engines, transmissions, and did all the work on my race car, so whatever i pick up will be well cared for.

respond here or email me tnord42@hotmail.com with what you find.

That's pretty standard. But congrats on the purchase!

Damn....that car looks like its going to eat a ZHP...for breakfast. Epic-ly aggressive. Did I already reply? Yes. Does this car deserve a second reply? Yes.

Out.

thanks guys.

the wheels are going to be sold for something not quite so gaudy, probably ARC 8 or CSL replicas. konis, h&r springs, otherwise stock. new brakes pads, inspection 2 done, oil just changed, service records, stock wheels and tires included. pretty good deal. i don't think i'll spend much money on mods, just replacing some items to bring it back to like new condition.

and yes, it does move with the quickness.

i don't know what they're worth just yet. the tires that are on there will stay on there. they're the all-season michelin pilot sport i think with good life left. i'm not sure yet what to sell the whole deal for......$2500?

not a project thread yet. first order of business is to get the thing all cleaned up before my 600 mile road trip next weekend. spent about an hour tonight just doing basic stuff and working on the seats. they cleaned up real nice so far. i'd like to replace a couple of the trim pieces but fuck is it expensive.
