Up for sale here is a 2004 BMW 330i ZHP. In English that is the standard 330i on steroids factory tuned by BMW. It has no top speed limiter (155mph is the claimed top speed), high performance camshafts (more hp), lower, firmer suspension (better handling), staggered 18 inch rims (also better handling), M-tech II body kit (looks more aggressive), zhp exhaust (nice grumble but not loud), high gloss shadow-line trim (around the windows), short shift knob, short shifter (quicker shifts), black cloth headliner, cubed interior trim instead of wood or aluminum, red instrument gauge cluster needles plus gauge rings. HP is raised from 225 hp -> 235 hp, increased red line at 6850 rpm instead of 6500, higher final drive ratio(quicker acceleration), 0-60 mph in 5.6 seconds, 1/4 mile in 14.3 seconds. Back to suspension, it also has larger anti-roll bars (less body roll in turns), more negative camber (better handling), and stronger control arm ball joints in the front. All of that is the upgrades from the standard 330i, all tuned by BMW.
This car according to the zhp registry is only 1 of 7 with this color combo, body, and transmission. It is not registered with them, making this 1 of 8, but that does not include this car's options.
Highlights:
2004 330i ZHP
6 Speed manual transmission
Xenon headlamps
Premium Harmon Kardon sound
Upgraded leather seats (not alcantara)
Heated Seats
Original clutch (still grabs and engages perfectly)
Original Vanos
116k miles
Silver Gray exterior (just detailed)*
Gray interior (also detailed)*
light gray interior cube trim
*when I say detailed I do not mean by machine or buffers. But by hand. I clay barred and put a wax/selaer on the exterior(paint). It is now very smooth, has a beautiful glaze, and has no tree sap or anything like that. The black trim was back-to-blacked, making it nice and giving that brand new finish. The wheels were polished and sealed (not easy with these narrow spokes) and also leave a nice glaze and makes the brake dust easier to wash off. The leather parts of the interior was treated with Lexol cleaner and conditioner. The carpet was foam cleaned, vacuumed, and I sprayed Auto Glym on it to give it a nice fresh smell. Total, this was a around a 6 hour job for me, I did many parts of the interior twice to ensure it would be in brand new condition and clean.
Upgrades:
H&R Cup Kit. Consists of H&R springs and shocks. (excellent handling and ride quality)
Due to the car being lowered, it has rolled and flared fender. This stops the wheels from rubbing and gives it a more aggressive look
Euro clear front indicators with LED bulbs
Euro side markers with LED bulbs
LED license plate lights
OEM E46 M3 strut bar
K&N drop in intake
LED Angel eyes
Matte black kidney grilles
This car has no issues or squeaks and has been tastefully modified. It has been dealer maintained until 92k miles. Then it was later maintained at a independent shop in Davis, CA. I am currently the 4th owner of this car. The only things that may need attention is that it needs a new hood emblem and could use a new shift knob. Brakes and tires are good at the moment. Rear tires may need replacement in the next 10k miles or so as well as the rear brakes. This car runs and drives like it has 15k miles, many people have mistaken this as a brand new BMW due to it being in it's concourse condition. I have never abused or driven this car hard EVER, I have been driving BMW's for 17 years so I know what this car is, and also that it is rarer than the E46 M3, thus this is one of the rarest E46 BMW's for the North American market.
$14,400
please feel free to ask any questions. The red bmw is not for sale.
This will be at the Stoneridge meet on the 5th of this month. Feel free to come look at it, I will be happy to show it to you
Maintenance: 0~92k miles from BMW (I'll post the maintenance, from the independent shop later)
