My brother in law is a retard.
Now that I've got that out of the way, I need to know where the valet switch is on a 2005 BMW 330CI ZHP. I was getting crap out of the back of my trunk and I shut the trunk with my keys in the back and apparently my seats don't fold down. Now I can't get into my car -_-. Anyone have any idea? I googled the subject but found nothing. He told me to look in the glove box but I couldn't find it, I even looked in the fuse panel box. I've got partying to be done :(
Thanks!

Your seats should fold down. I believe all coupes had fold down. However, I believe the release is in the trunk!

Yea, I can't find a handle anywhere in the back seat to let them down. Maybe I should rethink putting a blower in my car if my brother in law doesn't even know where a valet switch is in a 3series... even though he has been working on them for 7 years now :P

Wait- you have access to inside the car but can't get the trunk open? Why don't you press the trunk pop button? I must be missing something. I think all the "valet switch" is on the E46 is if you turn the trunk lock horizontal with the key.

You're probably correct. The keys are in the truck and I can't get the tunk open. The turck open button underneath the dash does nothing. My brother in law said it was because the Valet Switch was kicked.

You don't have an extra key? I can see the dilemma. I think he owes you a new car.

Damn. So the push button for trunk open doesn't work when valet switch is kicked?

That's what my owners manual says too.

I've heard of people popping out the rear speaker grill and then speaker (in the coupe), and fishing a wire through the trunk to grab on to the folding seat release lever; then fold the seats down. I kid you not! :headbang
BTW pretty sure your seats are fold down, it was standard on the coupe. The release levers are in the trunk though.

Ok so I got the trunk open. What happened was, the person before me turned the key on the trunk to the locked position. That means that the button inside the car can't open it and only the main key can. It's made to keep the valet from accessing your trunk. The way we got it open was actually taking a 4 foot long piece of audio wire and bridging a battery post to the fuse for the trunk and made it pop. If anyone else needs some help on this subject in the future just PM me, I'll walk you through it.

See my post above your "Pissseeedddd" post. My brother did pretty much all the work while I watched.
