a) Max rear tint 35% sides 50%

b) Radar Detectors Illegal

c) As Dane mentioned (and probably my biggest pet peeve): Front license plate required (WTH? seriously, how many speeders, bank robbers are nabbed from their front plates?)

You have a vert; why do you care about tint? lol

True vert drivers have the top down 24/7, 365. :biggrin

I agree about the front plate. CT has this stupid law as well.
I should move to Florida. No front plates, pothole-less roads...... heaven.

KY: no front plate;

KY: no state inspection;

KY: tint max rear and side 18%.

I have not done the window tint, but I may not need it (IDK).
I do love the no front plate rule and the lack of inspection.

NC had the inspection and sucked.

Similar to IL rules... Many of them are only enforced in legit downtown Chicago though. I have 20% tint all around, no front plate, and an Escort 8500 :)

Texas has the front plate rule, and I hate it. Right now I am in violation, but I the locals don't care. Need to get the no-hole bracket, I just keep procrastinating.

As for the state inspection, I think it is a good thing. I have a problem with people driving cars with malfunctioning lights and no emergency brake.

South Carlina doesn't have inspections, but if you get pulled for having a light out or something like it, major ticket.

Good ol' NC, where I used to live, had a joke of a safety inspection and no front plates. In MD, the inspection is a lot more stringent (and expensive); however, you only need to do it once, apparently. NC's was every year but very cheap. Also, we have a front plate here in MD. Not a huge deal.

Screw VA because of their stupid speeding fines. $120 fine for 7 over. LAME! Seriously western VA with mountains is beautiful to drive thru.

d. I-95 = worst road ever. I feel like I need an alignment every time I drive through there.

Well don't go through 495 during the current hot lanes construction. The roads near Tysons Corner are absolutely horrendous.

Yes they are indeed. I hate I-95, as well.

I'm not that big of a fan of my home state, but I can live with it. My tints are 50% all around, not dark, but legal. There is no reason why radar detectors should be illegal, but oh well. And I refuse to put on a front plate, haven't had one on in years.
