Really like your shots. What kind of filter / PS enhancement are you using to get that vintage feel. Really like it.

No filters on the lenses yesterday because I was shooting a mix of people and cars and didn't want to keep removing them from one scenario to the other. Super harsh overhead light, pretty much the worst possible shooting conditions. I do some basic color correction in RAW and then some burning/dodging on skin, make a few layers and work with tones and curves. Pretty basic stuff. I am pretty detail oriented though, so there is light pole removal, spot correction, blah blah blah....My theory is that you can make a good photo great if you know what you are doing, but you can't make a crappy photo good with photoshop. I could just post my jpegs and be comfortable with them, thats how I deliver shots to clients. I just choose to make the good ones better.

There should be a follow tab on the blog, its hard to say because my screen looks different than yours on the admin side.

On another note, Casey, you may be the tipping point to me re-joining Facebook or joining Twitter.

I will likely be travelling to San Diego next year for a conference. If this is the case, I will be bringing the wife and daughter. I will have to get a hold of you then to discuss your availability.

Thanks to all of you for the support and interest. Today the blog had well over a hundred views and was re blogged on 3 different cancer awareness sites and blogs. Conversion numbers are very high, meaning people who visited on any given day leading up to today are coming back for more and we continue to pick up new viewers. It all started here with a simple travel blog to Wisconsin, thanks for the push.

Appreciate all of the support guys. I have been keeping activity logs but haven't had time to update day 9 yet. Day 10 is today so you may be getting 2 updates. My daughter is currently competing in Junior Olympics and has been keeping a crazy schedule. We are 5-0 and have the rest of the day off. They played their way into the semi finals and are guaranteed top 4 in the US, so its kind of excusable that I havent been around a computer much.
