Finally got around to joining after acquiring my 2004 ZHP last November. Car is black, 33K miles, 6 speed, with leather seats. So far, have changed coolant, brake fluid, and gearbox oil, had alignment (rear was out), and added ground wire update to rear lights (it had not been done previously.) Dealer says there is a slight valve cover gasket leak, but is quoting more than $300 for replacement, which seems high even at their rates.

Car will probably get a new battery before winter, and I am thinking differential oil change next time it gets serviced.

Any other thoughts on preventive maintenance appreciated.

Love the car and am enjoying it immensely.

Welcome to the PDX family! I just did my VCG two weeks ago when I did the Vanos seals and rattle kit, it's a piece of cake, just takes time and patience to remove all the crap in your way. Let me know if you need any tips.

Iguanna don't forget to check in on the Northwest roll call list in Regional Forum and Events section at the very bottom of the main page. Good meet info there or just local jive. FYI I've done about every maintenence related thing to my car along with a ton of aftermarket items so let me know if you have any questions or need some guidance. Oh and post up some pics!
