ZHP Roadtrip

Took the ZHP on its first long road trip last week.
I went to Road America in Wisconsin for the Kohler International Challenge - which is one of the top vintage racing events in the US.

The amount of rare and "I've only seen that before in a book" cars was beyond count. Every time I turned around, there was some unique show car, or priceless piece of racing and motorsports history.

Any car guy needs to make this trip, the event is absolutely amazing. They parade the race cars into town on Friday night, complete with police escort. Then, they literally launch them down main street as they leave after setting up a race car concourse.

Awesome. I would love to go to Road America some time. It's just a little far away from me. I like to go to a similar event at the closest track to me which is Virginia International Raceway. Always a lot of cool cars there, too.

yes, VIR is on my list of tracks - Road America was as well. It is *definitely* worth the trip; I met people from all corners of the US who made the trip to see this event. Put it on your list and don't miss it......

I will. Road Atlanta is on my list, too. I want to see the American LeMans there some day.
