All:
I've been a Bmw enthusiast since buying my now sold 1990 325i e30. Drove that thing everywhere and put on almost 200,000 miles before selling it in 2003. Thing still pulled like a beast. Looked around for about two years until I found my 2003 6 speed, manual Steel Blue e46 330i. Love this car. Then about a year ago I found a 1995 e36 Montreal Blue on Blue vert with 86,000 miles on the clock. Got a fairly good deal and have loved every second behind the wheel. I do all the maintenance on my two bimmers and love knowing how they both function.
Anyway, after buying the e46 I always read about the ZHP and was always a bit sorry I didn't get one. That being said I have been looking on and off for the past year for a 6 speed manuel, 2003-2004 ZHP with about 50,000 to 70,000 miles. Nothing yet but I continue my search. I will have to sell the e46 but it is worth it. I found this site and it is awesome.

Thanks All for the welcome. I have my 03 e46 for sale and have a lot of interest, indeed I have someone ready to buy...however, I'm just concerned I'm not going to find the ZHP. Should I let my obsessively cared for e46 go???

Let it go. Let us know the criteria for your ZHP, and one will be found. Are you willing to travel, or have it shipped? Those are some of the questions we need answers to.

Looking for a 2003-2004 black or blue exterior/ tan or black interior with 50,000 to 70,000 miles. Fairly clean exterior. Good maintenance history with records. Don't mind doing cooling refresh. Willing to travel within reason.

Welcome to the family. You will find the ZHP you seek easily enough through here. But, for now, how about some pics of the current rides?

Welcome echo. If your on Long Island, there are ZHP's that pop up for sale all around the Northeast. But you might have to travel, and that's the fun part cause you get to drive home! I drove 3 hrs up to Bridgeport CT to buy mine, and that drive home was priceless.

Indeed, my 2003 330i e46 (premium package) is sold and new owner is taking delivery on Tuesday. It seems to me that the used car market for e46s is fairly hot. I could not believe the interest I had in this car. The person that eventually bought the car bought sight unseen. I made sure that I was overly open and honest about all the little gremlins with the car. They truly got a good deal on a well maintained e46 with only a few dings and dents. Sent them detailed pictures and all my records. I really try to treat people like I want to be treated. I know that is a bit naive but it is good karma.
Anyway, got things cookin on the zhp buy side.

Plenty of reasons. Lots of friends here, no snow, you can have a 3000+ square foot home without spending a million bucks... I can go on :)
Really worked out for me. Id be lying if I said I didn't miss the island but I wouldn't go back.
