Does anyone have the correct p/n for the vent window seal?

I'm having a hard time figuring out which one is correct. I think it's 51368252621

That gasket is the one that wraps around to the inside of your car. It depends on the color of your interior. If you look at the description by the part number, it has the color listed. I'm sure that they all would fit without issue, it's just which color matches.

Hmmmm... so which one is the standard black rubber seal?

Disregard, I found it at ECS tuning.

I'm going to need to replace the seal on my driver's side rear window, is this an easy DIY? I'm not mechanically gifted.

Well, now that I've had it apart and replaced the seal, I've realized that the piece that is damaged is not part of the vent window seal and may actually be part of the black trim that surrounds the windows.
Am I correct? Here is a picture of the rubber seal I'm looking to repair, it's the little piece of rubber that's hanging at the lower right hand corner.

Yes, that's part of the outside window trim, and its quite pricey. The lower straight piece is about $70, the upper piece is over $700 as it wraps from the back of the rear side window all along the drip rail to the front edge of the front door. Someone had it on special recently (maybe Tisher, think it was about $600 for the two pieces) but its still awful expensive.

Awesome. Well, it's going to stay that way then.

I had this issue with my M3 and I can say that the trim piece did not cost $700.
The rubber gasket that is pictured is part of the entire trim piece for coupes. The trim piece (at least for my M3) cost me somewhere around $230 when I purchased it from my dealership.
The lower piece ran somewhere around $30 when I priced this part at the dealership.
I can't imagine this part costing more than that for ZHP coupes...

Here's some DIY info.....

It looks like our Shadowline gloss black is quite a bit more than chrome or matte black. $380 vs $210. I noticed I have a slight leak on the right side rear window but the seal looks fine. There is a bit of a tear in the bottom piece that thankfully is only around $20. For $380 I can live with a few water spots on the inside of the window. Just need to be careful when washing the car.

The part you're talking about has actually disappeared on the passenger side of my car. Fear not, as it doesn't leak water. It just looks odd to the discerning eye.

Cool DIY.
Nice find Mr. Maico, I too need to take care of this on my car. I don't have any leaks tho, just ugly rubber.

Along with the one cakM3 posted this should give everyone plenty of info on getting this done for a reasonable price.
