Yeah...the new cars look awesome. We went to our local dealer today. They had a few Z4 Ms and a new e90 M3. Also a brand new 550, that one was the hotness.

But at the end of the day I feel I'd be happier with an older BMW. I feel they will be the classics. The newer ones will be impossible to keep on the road without $$$$$$$$ spent at the dealership.

I feel like the Gallardo is way too common now, it's like affluent people think that's THE icon of wealth in a car so they only go for that. Not even a Murcielago or Aventador, but the base Gallardo. Probably also has something to do with all the rap/hip hop/R&B songs mentioning Lamborghini and Gallardos.....
I saw one on the streets yesterday (orange) and there's a white, black, and grey one also around. Stopped taking pics after I finished high school haha

The majority of people that live around my area are super-rich Asian families. Back when I was in high school (just a junior), I got my '05 325Ci.
Here's what some other people got: 135i, 328i coupe, 335i hardtop vert, SLK AMG, newer model Mustang, etc.
Parents: White 'vette, yellow 'vette, A8, 750Li, S550, etc.
Even the teachers....one had a 'vette that was special, someone called it a ZL1 or something. Another had a grey Nismo 350Z.
I'm guessing my classmates grew up, handed down their cars and had their parents upgrade for them

The issues mostly pertain to the power train not the model but yes the 1s have a touch better reliability. Hpfp replacement is the biggest concern so make sure car had record of it being done. Other than that its basically the same car with a smaller body design.

Yup, had a friend at work that had a super modified Comet back in the day look at it. Left a note and never heard back.

All of them, except the first one, for sale have been the same exact spot as the were when I started working down here nearly two years ago. And yes it's very cool to come across ones you haven't seen, both on the road and in someones field regularly.
