Find out options from the factory

Not sure if this has been posted here on this forum or not so here goes...

I found this at the e46Fanatics website and thought I would share this here on this forum for those interested in finding out exactly what their BMWs came with from the factory. Mike has offered his services to look up information so that he could pass this info along to everyone. :thumbup

You can also have someone with DIS or NCS-Expert read your car's vehicle order (VO or FA, the list of installed options); unless someone has recoded your car with a new VO, it'll be the factory list.

Marcus, I heard that you could even get a copy of the dealer sticker from somewhere. Is that what your contact provides or is it the option code list only for your car? BTW, I used Mike a few months ago and he responded quickly with the data. I subsequently placed a parts order with him with no issues and good customer service.

No. The BMW customer service desk in Germany only provides a PDF list of your options. No dealer sticker.
