So after an awesome month...a really awesome one..

So after breaking off my engagement Ive been going out on the town per the norm.

So last night downtown chicago suffered a terrible hail storm about 5 minutes of golf ball sized hail.

What I'm left with is a damaged - hood, fenders, roof, trunk , 1/4 panels, broken windshield and some damaged trim pieces. AWESOME!

Lets see what the insurance says come tuesday or wed....

Guess a cf hood and csl trunk are in order to sooth my soul...

Sorry man. That hail must have been huge to break the windshield.

There's (still, after a week) an almost brand new M3/4 at the dealer I work at that's getting hail damage repaired. Supposedly the owner has 30k worth of mods to it (including Brembo brakes, BBS Rims + Tires, Supercharger, etc) They had to order a new roof for him and it was said that it was the only one in the country.

Hail sucks. So far, I've been at work when hail hit home....and at home when hail hit work. I've been lucky so far...I just hope this streak continues.
Good luck getting them repaired. Hail dents take forever to pop out...and there has been many cars totalled because of it too. Hope yours gets fixed over all

I need a trunk hood and prob a roof.

It doesn't look bad till you tilt your head then you see the dents. The gloss black hides it well I guess.

I got caught in a hail storm when I was on my way to get my car from the body shop. It was a crazy thing that I wish to never experience again!

Luckily the BMW dealer my car was at didn't get hit but loads of cars were flocking in like birds to be repaired/ get estimates. I asked the dealer how they fix hail damage and they said the worse it is the easier. They said if its a few spread out dents they call in a paint less dent repair guy and strip the headliner out/ etc to get what they can fixed. The rest gets filled etc. They said if its really bad that's easier and faster because then they just replace panels instead of spending time and lots of hrs repairing them

This is why the one Nissan dealer is having a blow out sale on all the cars on the lot. Up to $5,000 off of brand new cars becasue of the hail damage.

Still sucks though, I hope it all turns out well.

I'm sorry to hear about your streak of crappy luck. I had a run like that not too long ago. Nothing went right for a month.

Better off without that chick anyyas. Now my worry is will another girl take me serious? I know no Greek guy will take her seriously now after this blow out lol. Screw it at least I can I say I dumped her.

Holy sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. Good thing the car's still worth a bit of money. Give it 10-15 years and they might consider totalling it. :(

Good thing our cars are made of heavy materials. There was an e90 3 series there that was absolutely destroyed. Almost was at 20k in damage and they were trying to figure just to total it.

I mean my dents are like little dimples. This thing was like craters. I cant believe it.

Well I'm glad the car wasn't totaled and $3k should help you get her back to perfection.
