I developed a love hate relationship with my Style 135 wheels, loved the look but difficult (or time consuming) to keep clean. So I went hunting for a 5 or 6 spoke wheel. Not a lot of 18" options within the BMW OEM 5 or 6 spoke wheel inventory. Searching here and on the E46 Fanatics site, found the 1 series (135i) Style 264's would work. They may need an 8-10mm spacer on the front, we'll see what they look like without first. I just purchased a set and they are on their way to Seattle.

I'll post a pic after the install.

Ended up doing something similar. Loved the 135's but hated cleaning them. Went with style 71's.

I really like the style 230's. Wish they were 18" though (they're 19's).

New wheels installed. I'm running them without spacers for now. From an appearance perspective it may look a little better with spacers, but there is no rubbing. Anybody want a set of Style 135's?

Wow is right. Those REALLY look great! They seem to simplify the look and enhance the lines of the car. And of course, love the black vert!

That looks incredible! Normally I am not a huge fan of 5 spoke wheels, but the 264s on a ZHP look sooo sexy!

Azkotik did you have the 135's at some point and then sold them and want them back? Curious why you don't have them now.

The PO of my car must have traded/sold them when he got the LM Reps, so I have never had them :(

I always liked 264s - someday i am going to out them on the ZHP.

Here's my thread I started on the subject on Bimmerfest a few weeks ago: (it has a few different pics of 264 on various bimmers incl a ZHP and non ZHP coupe, along with a few posts on spec's, spacers etc as a result of my questions)
http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=549513

were you able to use same size tires we normally use?

Yes, same tires (Conti DWS's) went on the Style 264's and all is well...

good to know - looks great - where did you find the 264 wheels?

1addicts forums is a good place to start. Folks are always unloading stock stuff when they replace it with aftermarket

Thanks - will you be considering adding the spacers ? is it just front or both back and front? have you found out what size spacers we'd need?

Exactly... I watched this site for several months. The majority of the wheels had run flat tires on them, therefore a lot more money, and tires I didn't want/need. The set I found were naked, just what I wanted because my tires are new.

RE: Spacers - Don't think I'll worry about spacers. It looks fine and there is no rubbing. However, if I did, I estimated a 10mm up front and a 5mm in the rear would bring the tires very close to stock offset.

Mark, let me know if you want me to post the 135s in its own thread. They're kind of buried here.
