I bought this car new in February, 2004. It has a 9/03 production date. It has never been in any accidents and has been garaged and/or car-ported everyday. I have maintained it by "Old-School Maintenance" and have changed the oil/filter every 7500 miles. All work has been done by either BMW Service during the 100,000 mile service contract I bought or by my BMW certified independent mechanic. I have all service documents from BMW Service. Options include: Premium Package, Cold Weather, Performance Package (of course!), Black Cube Trim, CD Changer and Sirius Satellite. Among items that have been performed or parts changed out (in no particular order):
1. Entire clutch replaced by BMW at about 34K miles
2. All drive belts changed at about 85K miles
3. BMP water pump changed at about 60K miles
4. Valve gasket cover changed at about 90K miles
5. Brake Fluid has been flushed/changed at least 5x since new
6. Rear differential fluid changed 3x with Red Line fluid
7. Transmission Fluid changed 2x with Red Line and then again with BMW fluid
8. Brakes/Rotors (again) recently changed at about 92K miles from BMW
9. Coolant Flushed at about 60K
10. Spark plugs changed with BMW plugs at 60K
11. Fuel Filter (again) changed at about 90K
12. Power steering pump to steering rack hose (the expensive one) changed at 90K
13. Power steering rack to cooling coil hose changed at 90K
14. Cabin Filter changed (again) in Oct/2010
15. New Interstate Battery installed 3/2010
16. All four shocks replaced with Sachs OEM about 1 year ago
17. M-Control arms replaced under warranty at about 34K miles
18. Engine computer reset at factory under recall by BMW for hesitation when revs hit 4K RPM
19. Four Bridgestone Potenza RE750 SP installed 5/22/09 plus 4 wheel Alignment Camber&Toe performed by Fairfield County Motorsport, Fairfield, CT
20. BG 44K added to fuel every 20K miles
21. Alcantara steering wheel replaced (with same thing) under warranty at about 34K miles
22. All routine service performed at indicated intervals by BMW
23. Includes 4 (new this past season) Dunlop WinterSport 3D snow tires on dedicated 16" rims
Realize that I have always LOVED this car and have always took exceptional care of it. It was never neglected. I have always hand-washed it and clayed it once/year and used Klasse Glaze. There are no swirl marks. I am a non-smoker with no pets or kids. The car is in top mechanical condition with no issues. All parts that were replaced are all BMW OEM except for using Red Line oils and a K&M air filter. The reason why I'm selling it is simply because I am wishing to change out and buy a new car again.
