Hey I'm in the market for a 2003+ Black 330Ci (or possibly a 330i) or as a last resort I'll consider a Black 325Ci as well.

Preferred color: Black
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 100k ish or lower

You must be located in the SoCAL area though, preferably around Orange County.

I have a $9,800 budget so if you have a car or know somebody that has a car with my specifications then please PM or post here. Thanks.

You'll regret a rushed purchase. Why do you need it within next week if you don't mind me asking.

Thanks Dane Wilson, I appreciate it! Well I've been going around to dealerships and browsing the web everyday for the past week and some change. I'm kinda in a rush because I need to get to work and school in a different city soon :\

Totally understand your situation. I was able to pay for my car.....and drive a loaner (2004 black 330Ci)....while the dealer looked for my zhp. Albeit...the dealer pretty much has you by the balls when you do this....but it may be worth asking if you know a dealer you can trust....lol.

Read my story in the project thread.

Welcome. Check the classifieds on e46fanatics, bimmerforums, roadfly, bimmerfest, etc. Between all those sites you should be able to find an enthusiast owned car.

Yeah I'm not too familiar with any dealerships around me haha.. Thanks for the additional sites mimalmo! I definitely wouldn't be able to afford your 330i SpeedysZHP but thanks anyways.

I recently stumbled upon a newly painted 2004 BMW 325Ci with 92,000 miles for 10k + tax and fees at a dealership near me. The exterior body and interior are both in really good condition with no dings, wear, or anything. You guys think that that's a fair price? The salesmen told me that they repainted the car because a small section of the trunk had wear or something, I forget. What do you all think could have happened? Could something more critical have had happened?

Did the dealer repaint the entire car??

Hey Marcus, yes he mentioned that they repainted the whole car.

Damn. I have to tell you, that doesn't make a lot of sense.

If there was some paint work needed, they could have confined themselves to that part of the car and blended it.

I don't think I'd want to mess with a car that only needed some paint but ended up with an entire car being repainted.

Matt also makes a good suggestion. Get a Carfax and Autocheck (affiliate link) (http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-4193730-10857687) report. See what it reveals (if anything).

Yeah Marcus the repainting the whole car seems sketchy but the Carfax checked out from what I could remember.

Get this though, 2 days later when I called back to try to negotiate the price for the last time, they tell me that the listing price was raised to $12,995... they said it was listed for way too cheap. The car was on the lot for ~ 6 months at $14,995, they just reduced the price to $10,995 about 1.5 weeks ago and still couldn't sell it, now they increased it to 13k... ridiculousss :\
