With Keith's help, I've begun the process of getting personalized plates for my car. I was inspired by Stu's "2POOR4M3" or something like that, which is absolutely hilarious.

For my MINI, I'm going to go with: BMRLITE

For my ZHP, I'm still up in the air:

E46 ZHP

E46ZHP

ZHP

330iZHP

ZHPNSNV

....

What else????????

If the DMV will let you, go w/ the ZHPNSNV. I've been racking my brain trying to think of plates w/ZHP on it but it's tough to get too clever as it only give you 4 letters left (at least in CA). You could just do ZHP NS, ZHPNS, ZHP NESS along that "theme".

Yes my car has already been keyed. I've got about a week to make the decision as I wait on NJ to send me a code to access the site. Or maybe it's codes to access Zion. Maybe I'm Neo.

If that's the case, there is no plate...

Yes. Lots of haters out there. I don't do personalized plates that invite haters. My current plate is 05 ZHP. Hehe.

Not sure, probably taken but on the DMV's site it states that you must explain what it means and then if its approved you can have it. I think they know what it means but I was gonna say FTW means " For The Win" :shift

I had to give a reason for mine as well. I put "car option". They had no problem with that.

Yep. I have found that if you explain the meaning, you're fine.

Ooh, I'm liking "Z 3ER" . . . I'll have to remember that for when I get personalized plates.

I've thought about something like "PLUS10", but I think it could be too subtle of a reference. Perhaps "PFMNC3"?

I do think that "ZHPFTW" is always a solid choice if available in your state!

I still like "330to11"

Too long to pull off in Texas; I missed the 7 character plate sale. Still happy with loving BBQ, now if they would only mail it to me.

E46 ZHP (not bad at all, tbh)

"ZHP" is available in IA. Nice and clean. I might roll with that :)

Edit: Then again, I'm still a fan of goofy plates. I had HONKPLZ on my 1988 Ford Festiva for 3 years. Yes, people honked... a lot... haha!

Are you sure that was because of your plate and not because of how slowly the car accelerates? lol
I've once had the pleasure in riding in a similarly "fast" car... not fun.

Ha! You're probably right. That thing was like driving a clown car.

I bet the tires on the thing are completely useless. My car would probably beat it in a drag race, mainly because it would just sit there spinning it's wheels! :rofl

What a shock it must be to sit there at a stoplight with the intention of cutting that guy off, only to find a V8 growl come from it and it disappear into the horizon (once it stops spinning its wheels, of course).

I got that kind of reaction with the swapped E30. Made a few jaws drop, that's for sure...
