Friends,
My trunk roundel looks beat up. I am not sure this is the way it is supposed to look but there is a white and blue (logo) sticker on the metal roundel. The film is separating from the roundel.

Do you think it is an aftermarket sticker that has gone bad or is this the way they all are in the back?
Would you recommend buying a new roundel all together or should I go with a new sticker again. I mean, clearly this is not what the front hood roundel looks like.
Do you recommend a vendor?
Just trying to keep the car nice and clean just like it came out originally.
Thanks

Grab a new roundel. It's just the clear-coat or something similar thats peeling.
No such things as stickers. :)

Thanks buds, I swear it looks like a sticker. It is black white and blue and its coming off. I bet its the prior owner that stuck that on there.
Time for CF .... may be....
Khoatly.com.. .shopping...

They are cheap enough to get a new one, especially since it's only 1. Beside, if you put a sticker on a peeling one, it won't hold.

Yup. Just get yourself a new one. Don't forget to get some of the grommets that hold it in place, too.

They don't put the letters on due to trademark issues. They actually have the letters on them.

Oh cool, thanks for the info John.
No brainer then, I must... be .... putting ...... carbon fiber ....on there.
I feel like I am violating the pure look. IDK

My car is full of awesome looking violations. :biggrin
I had reservations about it too. I appreciate the sanctity of the Bavarian blue. That being said, I'm glad I switched them out, and would never go back.

I got all 7 emblems (hood, trunk, steering wheel, wheel center caps) from Khoalty, black & white, non carbon fiber. I love em, they all look great.

Thinking to get the rings that go around the speedometer, tachometer, gas gauge... in the dash. Chrome of aluminum?

The cool thing about buying the Roundels instead of stickers is you could always change them out, back to the original colors.

I would say replace the whole thing but keep it OEM. Unless you are planning to change all of them out (rims and steering wheel) would just take away from the look.

I just bought one (well my wife did for the upcoming Father's day). I want to see what the blue CF looks like before I put it all around.
I did also get the chrome rings for the dash...

Change of plans. No paypal = no khoalty = no rings :(
Went with the original from bavauto.
Keeping it stock.
Thanks for moving thread where it belongs boss.
