A lot of you are traveling great distances...for the meet this weekend, and for other events nationwide.

We have every state and about 10 countries represented with the membership here.

I thought it would be nice....to start a thread....if anyone gets stuck on the road...needs a ride, has an issue that they are trying to fix, etc....they can drop it in here for help.....or at least someone to talk to.

I offer anyone assistance, a ride, or a place to stay....that finds themselves in a crappy situation in my area.

Great idea Dane.

I live in the Southern PA area - Gettysburg, Harrisburg, York and work north of the DC Metro area in Gaithersburg/Rockville, MD area (I-270 corridor).

I can offer assistance, a ride, a garage to wrench in, and tools to wrench with.

Unfortunately, because of #3-- I'm not sure if #1 and #2 really know how to fly anymore. :biggrin

I'll gladly offer any assistance I can to a fellow Family member if they find themselves needing help in my area (northwest Albuquerque)!

I have basic tools, a bit of garage space, DIS / INPA for code reading & programming, & can provide basic hospitality amenities (a ride, a place to stay, a beer, etc.).

Im five minutes from I26 and about ten minutes from I81. Northeast Tn about an hour and a half from Knoxville TN and Asheville NC.

Glad to see this thread hasn't needed to be used yet. I will subscribe to this though so I am notified if and when the call arises in my area, I'll do what I can to help out!
