Made it to dane's in nine hours and twenty minutes. This despite a near miss with THREE animals early this am. Then I say ok I am good now....one tractor trailer tire blew 3 cars ahead of me.....ok now for sure I am good.....NO....many people driving in the left lane conserving gas!@@#$$&+*///0976$))'"-++....

It's even worse down here... they save gas in the left lane... or are doing over 100... just can't win.

Everyone here is still in pajamas. We are all sharing a blankey sitting on a porch swing........

Day 1 was great. Dane has a beautiful home and his family has welcomed us into their lives for the weekend with open arms. Traffic was a nightmare friday, so people were later getting here than they thought. People arrived throughout the evening all the way up until 11pm. Intros were made, beverages were imbibed, and good times were had by all.
Day 2 is about to begin as soon as Dane wakes up and let's me in to his home for some coffee!

I got lucky. I had a room at Chateau Dane. Others may not have fared so well.

Pizza was excellent.

It was an awesome time. I hung out a lot later that I had intended last night. I was soaking up all of the great conversation and loving the company. It really had a family feel to it. I really should have scheduled for today off, too. I'm kicking myself for not doing so.

How'd the new vanos seals work? Feel a difference?

Didnt really feel much of a differwnce, but it was 6 hours of all highway. Ill know this week if i feel a difference, and will be able to listen to my hopefully rattleless vanos. It was great meeting you, and glad u finally made it home!

I had difficulty this past weekend trying to explain to my wife why I had to post after "just" seeing you guys and gals. I must do a poor job of sales and marketing with my wife. So I apologize for being somewhat silent.

We got home safe and sound - everyone had a wonderful time and would do it again.

Left at 430am from VA beach and made it to Baltimore by 9am. No traffic on I-64 or I-95; it was beautiful.
